  5. This ARC is for HP Laserjet users only.
  6.  
  7. The *.GEM files in this archive are needed by users with HP Laserjet
  8. and compatible printers.  After un-arc'ing the MAR89-PS.ARC files into
  9. the C:\WYSIWYG directory you need to also un-arc this archive into the
  10. same sub-dir.
  11.  
  12. LET IT OVERWRITE THE FILES OF THE SAME NAME THAT IT FINDS !

  15. There is a bug in the HP Laserjet printer driver for Ventura that sees
  16. the 100% black as "brick face" instead of pure black in these GEM object
  17. files.  These *.GEM files in this archive has been re-edited and all the
  18. occurences of 100% black have been reset to 87% black.
  19.  
  20. This month's WYSIWYG! magazine does NOT use any Postscript-dependant
  21. graphics as past issues have so you HP guys should get a good looking
  22. magazine with a minimum of effort on your part.
