  1. The Files command displays a listing of files available for downloading. It
  2. prompts you to enter the "Starting Filename or Wildcard" of the directory
  3. you wish to view. There are three ways to respond to this prompt:

  5.      Pressing RETURN without typing anything gives you a list of all files
  6. in the current directory. The list is in alphabetical order and shows the
  7. filename, date uploaded, size in Kilobytes, and a description of the file.

  9.      Typing a filename, or the first few characters of a filename, WITHOUT a
  10. wildcard, lists files in alphabetical order starting with the filename
  11. entered. For example, if you enter "L", you will get a list beginning with
  12. the files that start with the letter L, and continuing to the end.

  14.      Finally, you may type a wildcard (a filename containing one or more
  15. "*" or "?" characters). In this case, only those files that match the
  16. wildcard specification are shown. In addition, the prompt "Search all
  17. directories (Y/N)?" appears. If "Y" is selected, the program will list all
  18. files in all directories that match the wildcard; otherwise, only files in
  19. the current directory are listed.

  21.      A "+" sign displayed in the file listing indicates a password protected
  22. file. You can only be download such a file if you know the password.

  24.      You can abort any file listing at any time by pressing the <spacebar>
  25. or <ctrl-c> keys. Also, refer to the "New" command for information about
  26. date-sorted file listings.
