  6.    The  following warning submitted by Bob Freed only applies  to 
  7. users  of  the new PC Pursuit services which allow  for  multiple 
  8. system connections  without having to redial (nor does PC Pursuit 
  9. call  you  back).  Those of you who continue to use  the  old  PC 
  10. Pursuit services will not experience this problem. 
  11.  
  12.    All  is  not  as  bleak as Bob makes it  seem...   If  you  do 
  13. experience a problem of the sort described below,  the  following 
  14. commands will provide a fix: 
  15.  
  16.                 <CR>            <-- from anywhere, during connect
  17.                  @ 
  18.                 <CR>            <-- returns you to command mode 
  19.                 SET? 1:0        <-- enter this entire line 
  20.                 PAR 1:0         <-- PC P's acknowledgement 
  21.                 CONT            <-- return to terminal mode
  22.  
  23.    Note:   This fix disables the special feature which allows you 
  24. to return to the command mode for making additional calls, so you 
  25. will  have  to  call  PC Pursuit back  when  finished  with  this 
  26. particular connection  (i.e. all "<CR> @ <CR>"  sequences will be
  27. ignored for the remainder of your connection).

  29.    Special thanks to Bob Kramer (Rock Island MBBS-RCPM), whom GTE
  30. gave this special  fix to and who posted same on my system during
  31. the time he was beta testing PC Pursuit II for them.  Without his
  32. notes, this  fix might not be discovered and those of us using PC
  33. Pursuit II would be cussing up  a storm.  As it  is,  we now have
  34. only a bit of inconvenience to put up with...
