  2.                           PC-WREAD UPDATE INFORMATION:

  4. The program is now in version 1.10.
  5.  
  6. (The comments below may or may not be meaningful to you until after you have 
  7. read the main documentation package by using the program SEEDOC.) 
  8.  
  9. The update is that the standard DOS wildcard characters * and ? are now valid 
  10. in specifying file names to PC-WREAD.  They are valid ONLY in the file name or 
  11. extension (or both)--NEVER in the Path or Drive specifications.
  12.  
  13. When wildcards are used, PC-WREAD will keep track of all files in the specified 
  14. or default Directory/SubDirectory that meet the specification.  It will present 
  15. initially the first match with which DOS provides it.  You may move through the 
  16. entire match list by using the ordinary plus (+) and minus (-) keys, or their 
  17. equivalents on the Numeric Keypad (if, of course, NumLock is ON).  You may step 
  18. up or down from the file currently displayed at any time.

  20. The file currently being displayed is always identified on the top screen line. 
  21. All else remains unchanged.
