  3.    SYSOP is the Fido/FidoNet utility used to manipulate theì
  4. caller list, CALLER.SYS. It is fairly simple to use; forì
  5. help with a specific command, hit ? again, then the commandì
  6. key you want help with.

  8.         Searches the caller list for a specific name or partì
  9. of a name. Entering "AN" will find: Brand, Stan, Anthony,ì
  10. etc. It is not case sensitive. The search starts the theì
  11. NEXT record, and ends when a match is found. If during theì
  12. search the end of the file is reached, it then proceeds fromì
  13. the beginning of the file until it reaches the original ....ì
  14. starting point or finds a match. Typing ESCape will stop theì
  15. search.

  21.         Goes forward one record.

  25.         Goes to the first record in the caller file.

  29.         Input a new name. This merely creates a new, blankì
  30. caller record at the end of the file. You need to fill inì
  31. the user name, password, city and any other desired featuresì
  32. and options. Note that Sysop will let you leave importantì
  33. parts such as the name or password blank; Fido will notì
  34. allow you to log in with these however.

  36.         Enter a caller address.

  38.         Enter a new password. Please do not leave it blank,ì
  39. as Fido will not let this caller sign on. (Use this sideì
  40. effect to "lock out" names you don't want used; "ALL" etc

  42.     Set the callers privilege level; 0 is the lowestì
  43. (see specific cautions on Privilege level 0 in Fido'sì
  44. manual) and 4 is the highest. 7 is for Sysop levelì
  45. privileges. See the manual also for side effects of theì
  46. various privilege levels.

  48.         Exits to DOS.

  50.         "Stamps" caller records by age; this is used toì
  51. purge callers who have not called into the system in a longì
  52. time. This prompts for the age of callers to stamp, in days.ì
  53. Each caller record in the file is then checked; if it isì
  54. this age or older it is marked (STAMPED); records under thisì
  55. are have any stamp removed. (Use A)ge-Stamp "1000 days" toì
  56. effectively remove all stamps from all records.)
  57.         The ! Purge-Stamped command can be used toì
  58. permanently remove all (STAMPED) records from the file. Alsoì
  59. get HELP! on the S)tamp, ! Purge-Stamped and U)n-Stampì
  60. commands.

  62.         Mark the current caller record as (STAMPED). The !ì
  63. Purge Stamped command can be used to permanently remove allì
  64. (STAMPED) records from the file. The U)n-Stamp commandì
  65. removes the stamp. Also get HELP! on the S)tamp, U)n-Stampì
  66. and ! Purge-Stamped commands.

  68.         Remove any stamp from the current record. Also getì
  69. HELP! with the A)ge-Stamp, S)tamp and ! Purge-Stampedì
  70. commands.

  72.     Add money to the callers credit field. The numberì
  73. you enter is ADDED to any amount already there. To clearì
  74. credit first, (such as to set a specific value), enter NONE.ì
  75. The callers debit will be subtracted from the credit beforeì
  76. adding any additional amount.

  78.         Set the default Message Area the caller is in whenì
  79. they log in. This is generally only used when each caller isì
  80. locked into a specific Message Area, ie. they cannot accessì
  81. the A)rea-Change command from within Fido. Please refer toì
  82. the manual for details.

  84.         Set the default File Area the caller is in when theyì
  85. log in. This is generally only used when each caller isì

  90.         Permanantly purges all (STAMPED) callers from theì
  91. CALLER.SYS file. Please refer to HELP! on the A)ge-Stamp andì
  92. S)tamp commands before using. Purged records are placed inì
  93. the file CALLER.OLD. A backup copy of the original callerì
  94. file is made in CALLER.BAK.

  96.         Add or remove keys from the callers record. To addì
  97. keys, just enter the key number or numbers, 1 to 32.

  105.         Resets the callers accumulative limits: accumulatedì
  106. download and accumulated connect time.

  108.         This does a very stringent integrity check on theì
  109. displayed caller record. It is intended for recoveringì
  110. damaged caller records. It will force name, password andì
  111. city to be printable USASCII (note: may remove extended andì
  112. international characters), checks and repairs msg and fileì
  113. area numbers, last-msg-read counters and other internalì
  114. data. Please be sure to manually enter any missing orì
  115. incorrect fields.
