  24.                               KEYMAIL

  26. KEYMAIL is an offline mail management system for messages created 
  27. in the Host Mode of Datastorm Technologies' Procomm Plus* and 
  28. Procomm Plus Test Drive*.  With it you can easily review, reply, 
  29. delete, and otherwise manipulate electronic mail left on your 
  30. system.

  32. KEYMAIL performs the same functions as PCMAIL, a utility provided 
  33. with Procomm Plus*.  However, KEYMAIL is much more intuitive and 
  34. easier to use; its window-oriented full-screen interface allows 
  35. swift navigation through your messages.  KEYMAIL displays an 
  36. entire window with a summary of your messages.  Just point to a 
  37. message and select the desired operation.  Selections are 
  38. performed by using either the cursor keys or by pressing the first 
  39. letter of the desired selection.  Online help explains all 
  40. available selections.

  42. KEYMAIL also includes a sophisticated and intuitive built-in text 
  43. editor for entering messages.  This editor includes word wrap, 
  44. manual and automatic paragraph reformatting, character, word and 
  45. line delete.

  49. KEYMAIL is the copyrighted property of Key Software, Inc. and is 
  50. being made available as user-supported software (shareware).  This 
  51. means that you are granted a limited license to copy it freely, 
  52. and to distribute copies to anyone you wish, at no cost.  If you 
  53. distribute copies of KEYMAIL, you must comply with the following 
  54. conditions of such limited license:

  56.    1. No fee may be charged for such copying and distribution.

  58.    2. KEYMAIL may only be distributed in its original, unmodified 
  59.       state.

  97.                        SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  99. 1.  An IBM PC,XT,AT,PS/2 or compatible with 256K or greater, and 
  100.     at least one diskette drive.

  104. 3.  Procomm Plus* or Procomm Plus Test Drive* version 1.0 or

  109.                            INSTALLATION
  110.  
  111. KEYMAIL is a cinch to install.  Just copy the file KEYMAIL.EXE to 
  112. the directory containing Procomm Plus* (or anywhere else as long 
  113. as it's in the search path).  To start, type KEYMAIL. 
  114.  
  115. As an alternative, a quick and easy way to invoke KEYMAIL is to 
  116. assign it as one of your Procomm Plus* user hot keys (Alt-J or 
  117. Alt-U). 
  118.  
  119. When you start KEYMAIL, it will first look for your message files 
  120. in the current directory.  If it cannot find them, KEYMAIL will 
  121. (unlike PCMAIL) search the DOS environment for the variable 
  122. PCPLUS, and search that directory for the message files.  If still 
  123. unable to locate them, KEYMAIL will create new message files in 
  124. the current directory.
