  8. PROCOMM PLUS TEST DRIVE is the "try before you buy" version of PROCOMM
  9. PLUS.  DATASTORM has created it to allow you to "test drive" PROCOMM PLUS
  10. before committing your hard earned dollars.

  12. First of all, though, you must be aware that PROCOMM PLUS and PROCOMM
  13. PLUS TEST DRIVE ARE NOT FREE SOFTWARE, NOR ARE THEY IN THE PUBLIC
  14. DOMAIN.  Both programs are fully copyrighted works protected to the full
  15. extent of US and international copyright law.  Your license to use and
  16. copy this program is discussed in the accompanying file PCPLUSTD.DOC.

  18. What does this mean to you?  While you are granted a limited license to
  19. evaluate the program on a trail basis, regular use of the program
  20. requires purchase.

  22. You are not allowed to modify the software under any conditions.  We do,
  23. however, encourage you to create "add-on" support utilities and programs
  24. to enhance your and others' enjoyment of the program.

  26. You may copy the program for the trial use of others subject to the rules
  27. outlined in PCPLUSTD.DOC.  In general, you may only copy the program in
  28. complete and unmodified form, as we distribute it.

  30. You may not charge any fee for copies of the program without written
  31. permission from DATASTORM.  This applies especially to disk vendors.
  32. Some services mislead customers into thinking they have purchased the
  33. software, rather than just the disk and duplication service.  If you have
  34. purchased this product from a disk vendor and feel they were misleading
  35. about what you have purchased, please write us and we will investigate
  36. the matter.

  38. You may not include PROCOMM PLUS TEST DRIVE with any other product,
  39. whether hardware or software, without specific license.  For example, you
  40. may not include PROCOMM PLUS TEST DRIVE on the hard drives of computers
  41. you sell, or include it with copies of software you have developed.
