  1. Congratulations, you have just unpacked I&C, a resident debugger. 
  2. It is both resident, and debugs resident programs.

  4. You should now have the following files in addition to the I&C.EXE
  5. file that you unpacked these from:

  7.    README       - the file you are reading
  8.    I&C.COM      - the resident debugger
  9.    IOPORT.COM   - a resident port input/output routine
  10.    MANUAL.I&C   - the manual for I&C and IOPORT
  11.    CHECKFIL.EXE - a file integrity checker
  12.  
  13.    I&C.COM and IOPORT.COM are copyright 1989 by R.A. Gramann.
  14.    CHECKFIL.EXE is copyright 1988 by R.A. Gramann.

  17. Please run CHECKFIL now to insure that you have good copies of the
  18. COM files.  With CHECKFIL.EXE, I&C.COM, and IOPORT.COM in your
  19. current default directory, type:

  21.    CHECKFIL I&C.COM

  41. If you don't see these numbers, your files have been corrupted and
  42. you'd better not run them.  Contact me at the address below for an
  43. uncorrupted copy.  Read the manual while you're waiting.  (Reading
  44. that can't damage anything.)

  46. Before you run I&C, remove I&C.EXE, the self-unpacking EXE file,
  47. from your current path to avoid conflicts with I&C.COM.
  48.  
  49. I&C is marketed as shareware.  If you like it, tell your friends. 
  50. Give them a copy of I&C.EXE so that they can have the manual as
  51. well as the executing files.
