  13.   As an historical note, I left a military sub-contractor (which is why
  14. the notice is cast in Milspeak) and lived for 3 weeks with a friend of
  15. the female persuasion, who constantly got on my case to keep the seat
  16. down.  I vowed revenge when I got my own apartment, so

  22.   The Water Closet Site Administrator (WCSITADMIN) for this
  23. commode equipment unit has elected a Most Recently Used (MRU)
  24. protocol with regard to the seat placement for the equipments
  25. at this site.

  27.   All users are requested to make determination as to their
  28. gender and intended use before attempting to use these equipments.
  29. Users should then determine the desired seat placement, based on
  30. this information, and chart 1, attached.  Having made this deter-
  31. mination, users should compare the actual seat placement, as
  32. determined by direct observation, with the desired seat placement
  33. determined above, and take the appropriate action, based on chart
  34. 2, attached.

  36.   It should be noted that the MRU protocol confers the following
  37. advantages vice the more commonly attempted INTHAMITH protocol:

  39.        Worst-case turn-around is improved, as in no case are
  40.         two seat-adjustments required.

  42.        Worst-case throughput is improved, for above reasons.
  43.  
  44.        Average-case throughput (random gender and use) is
  45.         improved, as no compensating adjustments are performed.
  46.  
  47.        Average-case throughput as measured is improved due to
  48.         uneven gender distribution among users of a given equipment.
  49.  
  50.        Wear and tear on the adjustment mechanism is reduced,
  51.         yielding a greater MTBF.
  52.  
  53.        User feedback is immediate and automatic, yielding a
  54.         higher compliance rate.
  55.  
  56.   Comments should be addressed to the WCSITADMIN.
