LGCALC.EXE (C) 1992 Hester L. Fuller
LGCalc is a Windows program which calculates letter-grade averages.
It will not run without Microsoft Windows 3.0 or higher.
It was written using Microsoft's Visual Basic programming language.
The file VBRUN100.DLL must be available in the system path or the pro-
gram will not run. VBRUN100.DLL is available on CIS; use IBM File Finder
to locate a copy (GO IBMFF).
LGCalc accepts up to a dozen letter grades from the user, and calculates
their average. Grades entered must include one of the letters A, B, C, D
or F and may include either a plus sign (+) or a minus sign (-).
If you enter more than two characters in a grade entry box, or if
you enter invalid characters, the program catches the error while
attempting to calculate the average, and gives you a chance to correct
the error.
The calculated average will appear as a number between 0 and 4.67,
where 1 = D, 2 = C, 3 = B and 4 = A.
If you find LGCalc useful, would you consider registering your copy by
sending me $2 along with your name, CIS ID and suggestions for improve-
ments?
