  5. On Dune2 build as many spice storage silos as you can, then exit to 
  6. DOS. Use a calculator to find the Hex for the number of credits you 
  7. have.
  8.  
  9. 1. Put the calculator in Base-N mode
  10. 2. Select Decimal
  11. 3. Type in the number of credits                Eg. 2000
  12. 4. Select Hex                                   Eg.  7D0
  13. 5. Make the number 4 digits long                Eg. 07D0
  14. 6. Split it into 2 blocks of 2                  Eg. 07 D0
  15. 7. Swap the blocks round                        Eg. D0 07
  16. 8. Use a hex editor to edit the save game file.
  17. 9. Search for the number (D0 07) and then replace it with FF 7F.
  18. 10.Load up your game.

  20. Note: Each silo holds 1000 credits so if you have 1 refinery and 2
  21. silos then your money will fall to about 3000 credits.
