  7.   Patches the file FIRSTENC.EXE to fix the memory problem with the sound. It
  8.   also fixes a few other problems that have been reported.

  11.   TO USE:

  14.   Unzip PATCHUP.EXE and FIRSTENC.PAT into the directory in which First Encounters
  15.   is installed, then type PATCHUP.

  18.   This renames the old FIRSTENC.EXE to FIRSTENC.OLD and makes a new FIRSTENC.EXE.
  19.   Once it is finished you may delete FIRSTENC.OLD.

  21.   It needs an extra 2.1Mb of free hard disc space to run.

  23.   Unfortunately this patch requires about 4Mb of FREE extended memory to run with
  24.   music and sound enabled. We will be providing a further patch shortly, suitable
  25.   for 4Mb machines.
