  1. ***************** METAL & LACE 1.42 UPDATE *********************

  3. The file PATCH142.EXE will automatically replace a few new
  4. files in your METAL directory.  This patch will only work
  5. on Metal & Lace version 1.1 and 1.2.  For all other version's,
  6. questions, or problems, please contact MEGATECH at (310)539-9177.
  7. Below are the instructions for updating:
  8.  
  9. 1) Copy the file PATCH142.EXE to your Metal & Lace Directory.
  10.         Type COPY PATCH142.EXE C:\GAMES\METAL.
  11.         (Default directory is C:\GAMES\METAL)
  12.  
  13. 2) Type PATCH142 in the METAL directory. The file will self extract.
  14.         If system asks if you want to replace the files answer YES.
  15.  
  16. DONE!!

  18. ***************** METAL & LACE 1.42 improvements **************
  19.  
  20. Metal & Lace version 1.42 fixes a few bugs present on previous
  21. versions as well as adds an EASY and HARD mode to the game!  The
  22. EASY and HARD mode is select-able only when the player enters a
  23. NEW PLAYER.  At which time the menu will prompt the player if he 
  24. or she wants to play in the NORMAL (HARD) or EASY (FOR WIMPS) 
  25. modes.  Players will not be allowed to switch between the two
  26. modes during the game after the initial selection!!
