  1. HOW TO USE THE PGAPATCH DISK:
  2.  
  3. 1) Insert the floppy into your 3.5" drive.
  4. 2) Copy all files to your PGA Directory on your hard drive.
  5. (for example: copy a:\*.* c:\PGA486)
  6. 3) To run the VESA DRIVER type "UNIVBE.EXE"
  7. 4) To run the game type "PGA486.COM"
  8.  
  9. PROBLEMS CORRECTED WITH THIS PATCH DISK:
  10.  
  11. The file PGA486.COM will correct any problems with the launcher. 
  12. (error examples: UNABLE TO FIND C:\PGA486\GOLFVM.EXE or
  13. UNABLE TO FIND CD??? errors)
  14.  
  15.  
  16. The UNIVBE.EXE is used to correct any problems with Video
  17. Cards that have difficulties with PGA486.
  18.  
  19. ATI USERS: This driver should correct all incompatibilities between 
  20. ATI Vesa drivers and PGA486.
  21.  
  22. This driver should correct any problems with outdated Vesa drivers, any  
  23. launcher problems, and any recurring DOS4GW 4001 Errors.
  24.  
  25. Full documentation and a VBE test program are included. 
  26.  
  27. NOTE: This program is licensed only for use with PGA486
  28. all valid copyright laws apply.

  30. COMPAQ USERS: UNIVBE.EXE is not compatible with all versions of Q-VISION
  31. built in video systems.  Please contact COMPAQ customer support and ask
  32. for the driver CPQVESA.EXE (VERSION 1.11).
