  1.             Task Killer

  3. Task Killer is a Microsoft Windows Shareware program designed to 
  4. display all of the modules (DLL's and EXE's) currently loaded in the 
  5. system.  In addition, Task Killer can:
  6.  
  7.     - Terminate any module
  8.     - Decrement the usage count of DLL's
  9.     - Create multiple module lists showing the state of the system at 
  10.       different times
  11.     - Compare module lists in side-by-side windows
  12.     - Save module lists to files
  13.     - Print module lists
  14.  
  15. Task Killer is invaluable to programmers, technical support personnel, 
  16. network administrators, and power users.  DLL's which have been left in 
  17. memory can be freed and runaway programs can be terminated.  You can 
  18. determine where DLL's have been loaded from, as well as sort out DLL 
  19. conflicts.

  21. Task Killer requires an IBM PC or compatible running Windows 3.1.

  25. To install Task Killer, copy the files in the KILL13.ZIP file into the 
  26. You may now create an icon by choosing the FILE | NEW menu option from 
  27. the Windows Program Manger.  Click on the OK button or press ENTER.  
  28. Complete the Program Item Properties dialog box and press ENTER.
