huge port which is the
second busiest port in
the world.Cruises of
the harbour and other
islands run regularly.

SINGAPORE CITY is well
worth a look around and
was founded in 1819 by
the British.There is
a great range of styles
and many differing
ethnic quarters giving
it a real racial
diversity.
Buildings of interest
include the Raffles
Hotel,the national
Museum and Art Gallery,
the Sultan and Hajjah
Fatima mosques.
The Botanic gardens,
the Chinese gardens and
the Zooligical gardens
are only some of
Singapores many parks,
gardens and nature
reserves.
CLIMATE:
Warm and humid through
most of the year.There
is no distinct wet/dry
season.Most rain falls
during the north-east
monsoon(Nov to January)
and showers are sudden
and heavy.
People:
Chinese,Malay,Indian,Pakistani,
European and Eurasian.
