  23. the Gambia is a
  24. long narrow country
  25. and all the
  26. interesting bits for
  27. a traveller wind
  28. along the Gambia
  29. River which flows
  30. into the sea from
  31. up country at Sutokoba.
  32. Banjul, the capital
  33. and main airport of
  34. the country lies on
  35. the coast (this was
  36. originally called
  37. Bathurst in the
  38. good old days).
  39. Banjul is a
  40. lively and colour-
  41. ful place and its
  42. teeming streets
  43. are alive with people
  44. and traders.

  49. the south of Banjul
  50. boasts some of the
  51. finest beaches in
  52. Africa,with no less
  53. than 15 hotels in
  54. the area.

  59. there are regular
  60. charter and
  61. scheduled flights
  62. from the UK.

  65. only 5 hours.
