For infinite lives enter 'BRUISER' Scooby & Scrappy Doo -------------------- Typing the following with no capitals will give you a lot of continues: 'qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm'. (All the keyboard letters row by row.) Scorpion -------- To get another eight lives, type 'INPORTLIGAT' into the high score table. Try also typing in 'CRL' and 'CLEMENT' for odd effects. Sensible soccer --------------- Go to the "load/save data" option, select "load data" and then "load custom teams and data". Now go to the "friendly" option and select "choose friendly match teams". Pick England and West Germany, and then click on OK. Now select "play match" and you will start the game in black and white to recreate the sphere of the 1966 World Cup between England and West Germany. The title should turn blue. Start the game. Now keys '1' to '7' take you to the appropriate level, <F1> to <F5> select weapons and 'G' gives you gold. Check out the other function buttons too. Shadow dancer ------------- Pause while playing and type in 'GIVE ME INFINITES' then press return for infinite lives and magic. You will also be able to skip levels by pressing 'X' during the game. Shadow of the beast ------------------- When the "Paranoimia" intro screen appears, press and hold fire and the left mouse button down until the "change disks" prompt appears. Start the game as normal and you will have infinite lives. This one only works on the cracked (illegal) version. Shadow of the beast II ---------------------- Ask (A) the first man you meet on the right side 'TEN PINTS'. The game will respond with "this one is for you Roger", you will now have unlimited energy. Furtheron in the game you should ask the snail for ZELEK and KARAMOON. Also, try asking (A) the following words: MALETO, KARAM, PIGM, PYGM, SEA, OLD, MAN, COMPA, SACK, PACK, GATE Shadow warriors --------------- Hold down ConTRoL, ESCape, <F2>, '5', 'C', 'J', HELP, 'V', right ALTernate, left bracket key (numeric keypad) and ENTER (numeric keypad) while the title screen is displayed. The bottom of the titlescreen will become purple, now: HELP = acts as a levelskipper. 1 = energy for player 1. 2 = energy for player 2. Q = Become invincible. Shinobi ------- Pause the game during play and type: -'LARSVII' for unlimited credits. -'LARSVII' while holding down left mouse button to enter color mode (this is controlled with numeric pad) Pressing 'Q' while the game is paused lets you enter music mode. Lastly when the Shinobi logo appears on the title screen hold down the letter 'T' and you can move the mouse to control the logo. Silkworm -------- Version 1: Hold down the HELP key and keep it pressed while pressing fire and you'll get infinite lives and can move through the levels by pressing the numeric keys '1' to '0' and the '-' key. Version 2: If you have the latest version then attempting the above will reveal the message: 'Congratulations!, you have found the cheat mode... unfortunately it has been ZZAPPED!'. If this happens go to the control selection and type 'SCRAP 28' and then start the game. The effect is the same as above. Sim city -------- Hold down SHIFT while typing 'FUND'. You will now get $10,000 extra. When you use this too much you will get an earthquake. Another tip is to set the citizen's taxes to 0%. Then just before tax collection (December) quickly set the taxes up to 20%. Then after you collect taxes, put it back down to 0%. This way the citizens think they are not paying any taxes. You can build land on water. Find a straight (horizontal or vertical), stretch of coastline and string a powerline along it. Next, move one square over, out into the water and string another powerline parallel to the first. Repeat this as many times as you want. Then just bulldoze all the excess powerlines and you can build on the new land. To MAKE land you simply make a 3 lane highway across any water source. When you make a road by putting 3 sections of road on top of three section of road on top of three sections of road (3 by 3) you make 1 section of land in the middle. Note: Don't activate both cheats or you won't be able to get past level 2. Skweek ------ Press the SPACE BAR to skip a level. Sky high stuntman ----------------- Type 'CHEAT' on the titlescreen for infinite lives and smartbombs. Slayer ------ Make your way to end of the first stage ensuring you're on your last life. Blow up all of the enemy guns and the little green monster. Next crash into the machine it resided in. You will then start on level 2 with infinite lives. Another cheat says: Confront the end-of-level guardian with one life intact. Press 'D' then crash into its dead body. You'll now have infinite lives. Sleepwalker ----------- On the screen which says "sleepwalker" and has the boy and his dog running through these letters, type 'DINGADINGDANGMYDANGALONGLINGLONG'. Lee and Ralph's noses will turn green. Now try pressing the following keys during the game: TAB - Top up Lee's sleep bar, give you nine attempts and light up the word COMIC. RETURN - Skip to the next level. (The cheat word comes from the song "Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry). Sly spy ------- Type '007' as your code, now when you are in the game you can type 'SHAKEN NOT STIRRED' (+ENTER) to get infinite energy. Solomon's key ------------- Press the HELP key when the game says "press any key to load". Sonic boom ---------- On the high score table, enter 'DOUGAL'. The next time you play you will find that pressing the function keys <F1> to <F3> gives some options: <F1> = Increases energy. <F2> = Awards a full drone squadron. <F3> = Skip to the next level. Sorcery + --------- Type in 'GAS MASK WHEELER WANTS CHEAT' to open all doors, stop the timer and to get infinite lives. Space ace --------- Type 'HURRYDEXTER0' to see the game play itself without doing anything. If this doesn't work, try typing 'DODEMODEXTER' while playing the game. Space ace II ------------ To watch the entire game play automatically type 'HURRYDEXTER0' and press the return key. Space crusade ------------- While being attacked, press the ESCape key repeatedly. This will reduce the score of the person who is attacking you, inflicting less damage on your soldiers. Space harrier ------------- Reach the second place and enter your name as 'RAF' to get unlimited lives. Space harrier II ---------------- Enter your name as 'SPOT' for infinite lives. Space invaders II ----------------- This cheat works on the Space Invaders II version that was released by Mental Image on their second gamedisk. Type 'JAM DOUGHNUT' on the titlescreen to get the best arsenal and to become invincible. You may have to type these words more often because the game doesn't always detect it. The screen (or a part of it) will flash indicating that the cheat mode is activated. Spidertronic ------------ Get a high score and enter 'CHEAT', press return followed by the fire button. The screen will go black; a prompt will appear: "Last game level: GAME.LS0". Now type 'GAME.LSx' and the number of the level you want to play instead of "x". Press return, followed by the fire button, and you start playing on the desired level. Starflight ---------- In the trade depot at the space station buy 1000 endurium. Sell it all back and you have an additional 20,000 mu's. If you only sell 990 back you get 2,714,000 mu's. Starglider ---------- Slow down your ship completely, and press <F1> for fixed sights. Press the BACKSPACE key to pause the game and type 'js arg s'. You should now be invincible, and your fuel and shields will never deplete. Press 'P' for more missiles. To enter the secret object viewer, press 'Z'. Then press 'P' to pause. Select [, and .] and manipulate objects. You can use all keys except 'Q' and ESCape. Use the mouse to change point of view, or magnification with the right mouse button. Starglider II ------------- Bring the ship to a complete halt and press 'F' for fixed sights. Press BACKSPACE to pause, and type in the words 'WERE ON A MISSION FROM GOD' and then press '1'. Your shield and energy levels will drop to a fixed point. Press 'K' and you will receive all the weapons. Stargoose --------- Hit all the function keys from <F1> through to <F10> and you'll get unlimited lives. Here's the step by step guide to getting an invincible ship. Make sure your mouse is plugged in, but don't use it to move the highlight. Access the OPTIONS SCREEN (ie: press the SPACE BAR). Move down to the VIEW GAME SCREEN option. Push the joystick LEFT and press FIRE. The GAME SCREEN should appear. Center the joystick and press FIRE again. The OPTIONS SCREEN should reappear. Move down to the SOUND ON option. Push the joystick to the RIGHT and press FIRE. If SOUND ON changes to SOUND OFF, start again from scratch. Return to the VIEW GAME SCREEN option. Push the joystick RIGHT and while holding it in this direction, hold down the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON. Press the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON. The OPTIONS SCREEN should change to "cheat mode". Return to RESUME GAME and continue play with a shield that never depletes. If this doesn't work, try again from a new game. The next cheat only works with the full price game, not the budget release. On the options screen type 'AL YANKOVIC', press <F5> for effect. Also pressing 'X', 'C', 'T' and 'SPACE' produces a cheat screen. Also 'L' skips levels. -> cheat #2 <- When the credits screen is displayed type 'DRAGONBRIDGE', a scrolling message telling "you cheating swine" will appear. Start game and press the SPACE BAR to pause the game and then press 'L' to skip the level. Storm master ------------ Press ConTRoL + ALTernate and click the mouse on the icon of winds on the ecclesiast map to look at the winds on the map. To win the game press ConTRoL+ALTernate and click the mouse on the Joker at the Council of Seven. Stormtrooper ------------ Enter 'JAMES CAMERON' on the high score table. Now, whenever you need more lives, hit <F9>. Street fighter -------------- To progress to the next level type 'STREET CHEAT' on the title screen and press the HELP key. (Or try typing the word during the game.) Street fighter II ----------------- -> cheat #1 <- Start a one-player game and choose Blanka as your fighter, but don't select him yet. Now type 'PATIENCE' very slowly, if you do this right the screen will flash yellow. You can now choose any fighter, if you're fighter is going to be knocked-out just press <F10> to clear your energy meter. -> cheat #2 <- Start a two player game, and choose the characters you want to play with. If the game starts you pause the game and type '7KIDS' the screen will flash yellow. You can now go back to the character selection screen by pausing the game and pressing escape. Now you can select two identical fighters. Fighter two will be indicated by a white arrow, so you won't be confused. -> cheat #3 <- This cheat requires a second disc drive, but allows you to control on of the four baddies. Don't insert disk 2 in your second drive when loading. Play the solo game and when you fight the baddie you want to be, e.g. Vega, let yourself be killed. Now select two player mode and select E Honda for player 2. As long as player 1 doesn't select Ryu, he'll control the relevant big baddie in the contest. Strider ------- Press <F9> to pause the game. Hold HELP, Left shift, and '1' (main keyboard). Let go of all three, and press <F10> to restart the game. From now on the following keys are activated: 1 to 5 (main keyboard) = Warp to corresponding level. <F1> to <F4> = Warp to section 1 to4 in current level + renewed strenght. Strider II ---------- Type 'SWIFT' during play. A cheat icon should appear and now pressing 'E' will replenish Strider's energy, while pressing 'D' will replenish Strider's robot energy. Stryx ----- While playing the game, hold down 'HELP', 'M', and 'E' for maximum strength, fuel and ammunition for the jetpack. Or, try 'HELP', 'M', 'E', and 'P' for all four door passes. Sunday sport strippoker ----------------------- Type 'DANCEOFTHESEVENVEILS' to see the girls naked. Super cars ---------- Type the following codes instead of your name: RICH - Get more money. POOR - Get less money. ODIE - Skip to level 2. BIGC - Skip to level 3. Super cars II ------------- Enter player one's name as 'Wonderland', and player two's name as 'TheSeer' (pay attention to the capitals). Now you won't need to qualify and you'll add extra options to your car. Super hang on ------------- To enter this cheat mode, you must be able to beat the current continent's high score table. Africa is the easiest. After making a high score, enter '750J' for your name. It should change to "...." if it works. Hold down Control, Left Alternate, Z, and T as the credits screen changes to the options screen. Let go of the T key and the cheat mode will be on. Enter new coefficients for the road turns using the keypad. The initial settings are 60 for an outer turn and 45 for an inner. You also gain a machine gun. Use it with the Amiga key. It can be used to destroy other bikes or roadside obstacles. Still holding down the key, start a new game, and this will allow you to start on the respective level. Switchblade II -------------- When the titlescreen appears, you can type 'LEVELx', now type the number of the level instead of "x". Press 'P' again to unpause and from there on both players will now have infinite lives. (The "-" symbol refers to the one on the main keyboard NOT the numeric keypad). -> cheat #2 <- After defeating a Goosecopter, fire continously at one of the tokens. After 32 hits, it will turn into a star, which when collected will yield mega-powerful six-way fire. Just be careful not to hit the token again before collecting it, or it will revert back to the one of the ordinary power-up tokens. Sword of Sodan -------------- -> cheat #1 <- Play the game, and get yourself killed, but make sure you get on the high score table and enter your name. Now start the game again, press fire so you can move about. Stand still (preferably no where near the guards !) and type 'DISCOVERYSOFTWARE' and press RETURN (you should see a message on screen). You will now have infinite lives and go to the next level. Now when you press RETURN at any time during play you will automatically go to the next level. -> cheat #2 <- If you type 'RAD' or 'NANCY' into the highscore table and play another game, you will have unlimited lives.
