  1. One or two people have asked about an INS file for Cakewalk and I4S.
  2. Sorry, Capie I have not responded quicker - busy at Easter and then a
  3. holiday.
  4. You could try the one attached here.  I did it in haste so I am not
  5. guaranteeing it is perfect!
  6. I use Cakewalk Home Studio 3.01.
  7. With this go to:-
  8. Settings Menu
  9. Instruments
  10. Define Instruments
  11. Import (then select the attached file)
  12. Then make sure that port/channels are correctly assigned under the original
  13. assign instruments menu.

  15. My version of Cakewalk confuses the bank numbers when saving a type 0 midi
  16. file.
  17. It saves type 1 files perfectly.
  18. Does anybody else have the same problem?  Has anybody found a fix for it?
  19. I use a separate program to convert the type 1 file to type 0.
