How to Use This Document
To view README.TXT on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.
To print README.TXT, open it in Notepad or another word processor,
then use the Print command on the File menu.

1. What is Picture Slide Show?
Picture Slide Show is a simple program that continuously displays all the pictures in
a folder. You can tell it which folder to look at and how long to display a
picture for.
Picture Slide Show can display ICO, BMP, WMF, EMF, and JPG files. More formats will be
added in the future.
To start the show, click Start from the Picture menu.
To stop the show, click Stop from the Picture menu.
When a Picture Slide Show has started you can use the following hidden short cuts:
Action Effect
------------------------------
Click on picture Moves to next picture
Press Space Moves to next picture
Press P key Pauses show (press P again to restart)
Press Shift+Enter To select a new folder in the Select Directory dialogue
box (you can also double-click with your mouse button)
Press ESC key To exit Full Screen mode
In Full Screen mode, the menu (and keyboard shortcuts to menu commands
such as CTRL+F and F11) are disabled.

2. How to install and uninstall Picture Slide Show
To install Picture Slide Show, simply run SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions.
No files are installed in your Windows folder. Once you have installed
Picture Slide Show, you have the option of later uninstalling it.
To uninstall Picture Slide Show, use the Add/Remove Programs icon in Control
Panel. If the uninstall program indicates that all components were not
removed, this will usually be because you have saved files in the program
folder. If this is the case, you can use the instructions below to remove
Picture Slide Show manually.
To uninstall Picture Slide Show manually, delete the folder in which you
installed Picture Slide Show (by default
C:\Program Files\Kaptech\Picture Slide Show) and also delete the registry
key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kaptech\Picture Slide Show".

may find that you do not need a computer with a specification that matches
these requirements.
