  1. This is disk 329 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. CPU        Two programs, one in C and one in assembler, which
  6.         check for CPU type.  This version can detect 68000,
  7.         68010, 68020, and 68881 processors.  Includes source.
  8.         Author:  Ethan Dicks, based on WhatCPU by Dave Haynie

  10. DiskSpeed    A disk speed testing program specifically designed to
  11.         give the most accurate results of the true disk perform-
  12.         ance of the disk under test.  Automatically updates and
  13.         maintains an ASCII database of disk results for tested
  14.         disks.  This is version 3.1, an update to version 2.0 on
  15.         disk 288, with some source code cleanups and stress tests
  16.         for CPU and DMA.  Includes source in C.

  19. Empire        This is a complete rewrite, from the ground up, in
  20.         Draco, of Peter Langston's Empire game.  Empire is
  21.         a multiplayer game of exploration, economics, war,
  22.         etc, which can last a couple of months.  Can be
  23.         played either on the local keyboard or remotely
  24.         through a modem.  This is version 1.33w, an update
  25.         to version 1.0 on disk 118, and includes many changes
  26.         and enhancements.  Binary only.

  29. FileSystems    Displays AmigaDOS disk devices with information about
  30.         the head geometry, BufMemType, and the lower level
  31.         exec device.  Includes source.

  34. OnePlane    Removes the highest number bitplane from the WorkBench
  35.         screen.  Normally used to take Workbench screen from
  36.         2 bitplanes to 1 bitplane.  This allows CON: style
  37.         devices to scroll text faster.  Includes source.
