  1. This is disk 432 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  4. APalAsm        A Programmable Array Logic (PAL) program based on an old
  5.         MMI Fortran IV program from the 'PAL Handbook' Second
  6.         Edition and Third Edition by MMI.  This Version (1.00) is
  7.         completely rewritten for Fortran 77.  The outputs produced
  8.         are sent to separate files instead of the screen.  There
  9.         are plenty of example PAL files to test, inspect, or just
  10.         to learn what PAL's are all about.  The Fortran source is
  11.         included with the instructions to compile using AC/Fortran
  12.         version 2.3.

  15. Badger        Reminder program for your startup-sequence.  Badger will
  16.         open a window and display any important events that are 
  17.         'due'.  Badger will not bother you if there is nothing to
  18.         report.  Events are entered via menu and prompts.  This
  19.         is version 2.01e, an update to the version on disk 365,
  20.         and includes many new features.  Shareware, binary only.

  23. Conquest    Lore of Conquest is a war game similar in concept to the
  24.         board game Risk.  You are the lord of an entire world,
  25.         destined to rule the galaxy.  Some worlds are virgin fruits,
  26.         ready for you to colonize.  Some worlds have natives who do
  27.         not wish to accept your rule, these you must conquer for
  28.         they will yield more valuable resources.  As you claim the
  29.         galaxy you will find, you are not the only one extending
  30.         your dominion.  This is a two-player game, so be prepared
  31.         to defend yourself and take what is yours!  Version 1.2,
  32.         binary only, shareware.

  35. FifoDev        FIFO: is like PIPE: but is based on fifo.library rather
  36.         than its own implementation.  Fifo.library is a general
  37.         fifo library implementation that supports named fifos,
  38.         writing to a fifo from a hardware exception, multiple
  39.         readers on a fifo with each getting the same data stream,
  40.         efficient reading, and automatic or manual flow control.
  41.         Programs that require non-blocking IO can access one side
  42.         of a FIFO: connection via the fifo.library instead of the
  43.         FIFO: device.  Includes some source.

  46. Reader        A program to scan a word list to locate which words can
  47.         be made from the letters given.  Allows matching of words
  48.         by length and by giving the letters known, ie. m.t.h for
  49.         the word MATCH.  Great for word games and crosswords.
  50.         Results output to screen and a RAM: based file.  The word
  51.         list is in ascii and so can be edited if desired.  New
  52.         words can be added and it could be used for different
  53.         languages if required.  Supplied with over 24,200 words
  54.         (mostly English spellings).  Version 1.0, includes source.

  57. SBackup        Programmers utility to assist in maintaining old versions
  58.         of source code.  SBackup maintains 2-99 old versions in
  59.         any location desired.  Version 1.00e, binary only.

  62. TMonth        TMonth will execute any program the first time it's executed
  63.         each month.  Very useful, for example, to execute the ATOM-
  64.         CLOCK program to set your clock each month.  Version 1.0f,
