  1. This is disk 1 from the "Gold Fish" series, which is a collection of some of
  2. the best games, programs, examples, demos, etc from the Freely Distributable
  3. Amiga Software Library (aka "Fish disks").

  5. Disk 1 contains a selection of some of the better games and demos that
  6. have appeared in the library.  Unfortunately, the best available freely 
  7. redistributable games, Hack and Larn from the Software Distillery, are too
  8. big to be included on a "sampler" disk like this.

  11. CuteStuff    A collection of amusing little display hacks, most of
  12.         them by the display hack master (Leo Schwab).  Binary
  13.         only, sources available for most.
  14.  
  15. Cycles        A simple but enjoyable game apparently inspired by the
  16.         cycle game in the movie "Tron".  Version 1.0, binary only.

  19.  
  20. GravityWars    The object of this game is for one player to hit the
  21.         other player's ship with a missle, before being hit
  22.         yourself.  The ships and planets don't move, but
  23.         aiming the missle in the presence of gravity fields
  24.         and black holes makes hitting your target difficult.
  25.         Version 1.04, shareware, author suggests $5 donation.
  26.         Binary only, source in Modula II on disk number 84.

  29. Rot        Program which generates and displays 3D objects.  Consists
  30.         of two pieces, an object editor and an action editor.
  31.         The object editor creates 3D objects and the action
  32.         editor defines up to 24 3D views of an object (which
  33.         can be quickly cycled to get an animation effect).
  34.         Version 0.5, binary only.

  37. Shanghai    Demo version of the Activision game "Shanghai",
  38.         submitted directly by Activision for inclusion in
  39.         the library.  Binary only, from disk number 55.

  41. TriClops    Very nice graphics oriented 3-D space invasion game.
  42.         This was previously a commercial product which is
  43.         being released into the public domain for promotional
  44.         purposes (they are working on a multiuser, multimachine
  45.         version).  Binary only.  From disk number 35.
