  1. This directory contains files from two separate postings, however they
  2. appear to be intimately related.  The two postings and files derived from
  3. the postings were by:

  5.     Dave Haynie    POSTER, setfont.c, setfont.lattice

  7.     Kim DeVaughn    POSTER2, setfont.uue, setfont.manx, setfont.doc
  8.  
  9.     [Ed note:  For the "GoldFish" disk distribution I have
  10.      deleted the setfont.c, setfont.uue, and setfont.manx files.
  11.      They are still available on disk 75 for those that really need

  14. Note that the only working version I was able to produce from setfont.c
  15. was one compiled with Lattice C 3.10 (patch level 2).  Executables produced
  16. by Manx 3.40A (patch level 3) ran but had no apparent affect.  However,
  17. Kim's posting contained a uuencoded executable which was much smaller
  18. than the Lattice one, so presumably it is possible to produce a working
  19. Manx executable.

  21. Another interesting thing I noticed was that NO executable version of
  22. setfont that I tried had any affect in a window in which "conman" 
  23. (version 0.98B) was active.
