  11. VLT is both a VT100 emulator and a Tektronix (4014 plus subset of 4105)
  12. emulator, currently in use at SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center).
  13. Although the VT100 part was originally based on Dave Wecker et al.'s VT100,
  14. many enhancements were made.  Features include use of ARP, an ARexx port,
  15. XMODEM 1K/CRC and Kermit protocols, support for additional serial ports,
  16. external file transfer protocols (XPR), a "chat" mode, and
  17. scrollback/review/history buffer.  It comes in two versions, one with
  18. Tektronix emulation, and one without.  The Tektronix emulation allows
  19. saving IFF files, PostScript files, and printing bitmaps to the printer.
  20. The major change for this update is a rewrite of the Tektronix emulation to
  21. support almost all of the Tektronix 4105 escape sequences.
