  6. Updates to version 0.06:

  8. - added the "Please Press Return...." after dos activity so error
  9. messages didn't vanish.
  10. - Changed all pathnames to RAM: to stop hassle with people with one
  11. drive and set two separate text sections...one with a pathname and
  12. one with a path and file...you'll see the difference.
  13. - Fixed a bug which occurred when no files were in the current
  14. directory which caused an 256 times loop if any dos operations were
  15. selected.

  17. Updates to version 0.07:

  19. - Added the title screen, and made ArchEdge wait for a pathname to
  20. be entered...to further help single drive people.  (BUY ANOTHER
  21. DRIVE!!!)
  22. - Got the Proportional Gadget Going !!! YAY !!! I remembered !!!

  26. - Added ARC to the archiving list, and realized at this stage that
  27. ZIP was a full-fledged program, and since I can't see the use of it,
  28. the ArchEdge will only ever UNZIP archives, but not ZIP them.  If you
  29. must use ZIP, then the program PKAZIP is more than adequate...in fact its
  30. pretty impressive.
  31. - Fixed a bug in earlier versions which had a problem with the change
  32. of pathnames I did in V0.06.

  36. - Added the device requesters and decided it was neat enough to be
  37.   a version 0.10 !!!

  41. - A large routine added to archive a full disk using the fantastic
  42.   LHWARP option.  All options are there...it defaults to the best
  43.   but you can do it anyway you like!!

  47. - Discovered that I had left FREEZE off the LHWARP option, so added it
  48.   and also fixed a bug that made every second selection of LHWARP not
  49.   work !!! Sorry ?!?!?

  51. Updates to Version 0.22:

  53. - Added the rename command to the start of a LHWARP command, so that
  54.   it doesn't lockup if you select an existing file for your output
  55.   file.  The old file is renamed to FILENAME.BAK.LHW for your convenience.
  56. - Fixed a typo in my Assembly Listing that made it unable to be packed
  57.   with the PowerPacker.  Fixing this has made the PowerPacker very happy,
  58.   so happy you'll see that the version supplied is PowerPacked, with a
  59.   reduction of 71% (!!!! WOW !!!!)

  61. Updates to Version 0.9:

  63. - Added the LHWARP unarchiver.  Just click on a file with a .LHW extension
  64.   and it will bring up the requester.
  65. - Added a textfile to advertise ArchEdge, which is added to all LHWARP
  66.   files, and now added to every archive as an autopad feature....to ensure
  67.   communication programs don't cut something important off.
  68. - Fixed the longstanding LOCK bug, thanks to Richard Carde for his solution
  69.   to my program via Fidonet echos, I'm almost embarrassed at how obvious
  70.   it is.
  71. - Added a quit to archiving.  When archiving, if you now click the close
  72.   gadget on the ArchEdge requester and the it will stop when finished the
  73.   current command.  This is due to a bug if you make an error in setting
  74.   up the info, then away it went without you being able to stop it.

  76. - I think thats it!  I added heaps of source, so maybe I forgot something.

  78. - One point....You can't PowerPack this version...it seems to be a bug
  79.   in DevPac Assembler...I'm still looking into it, and will fix it as
  80.   soon as possible.

  84. - As promised, ArchEdge now has an icon and runs from the workbench fine!
  85. - It also can be packed with PowerPacker.  The problem was it doesn't
  86.   like ArchEdge assembled with Debug info....

  88. Updates to Verison 1.1:

  90. - Fixed a bug that meant a mate with 2 megs of ram couldn't use it at
  91.   all !!  The whole program now goes into chip ram to fix this...
  92. - Fixed a serious bug the meant the UNDO function caused gurus after
  93.   returning to the CLI.  Doing this meant fixing the long-standing bug
  94.   that ArchEdge didn't turn off all the locks it opened !

  98. - A few people thought my ad was a bit rude, so it is now selectable with
  99.   the AUTO-PAD icon.
  100. - Removed the ad file which nastily stayed in ram: after usage....
  101. - Changed the renaming part of LHWARP so that it used the DOS rename
  102.   rather than the c: rename, and so its quicker and less of a hassle
  103.   to one drivers...
  104. - Added the BEGIN icon to all the options to save you clicking in the
  105.   path box and pushing return.

  117. - Fixed another little bug with the UNDO, and then got the shits and
  118.   removed the UNDO command totally.  Rewrote it, adding full routines
  119.   to do identifying and the stuff...there may be bugs, but enjoy!
  120. - Added UNPAKING to my UNDO routines !
