  1. This is disk 822 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. NetHack        A screen oriented fantasy game where your goal is to grab as
  6.         much treasure as you can, retrieve the Amulet of Yendor, and
  7.         escape the Mazes of Menace alive.  On the screen is a map of
  8.         where you have been and what you have seen on the current dun-
  9.         geon level.  As you explore more of the level, it appears on
  10.         the screen in front of you.  Nethack generates a new dungeon
  11.         every time it is played, thus even veteran players will con-
  12.         tinue to find it entertaining and exciting.  This is part 1
  13.         of a 3 part distribution.  Part 1 contains the binary portion
  14.         of the distribution.  Part 2 and part 3 contains the source
  15.         portion of the distribution, and can be found on disk 823 and
  16.         824.  This is version 3.1pl0, an update to version 3.0pl10 on
  17.         disk 460.  Includes source.
