  1. This is disk 913 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  5. AssignManager    A new prefs editor which handles your custom assigns in a
  6.         friendly, all-encompassing way.  No more fiddling with Assign
  7.         commands in User-Startups.  Now you can use AssignManager to
  8.         edit your list of assigns to your heart's content.  Version
  9.         1.00, binary only.

  12. AssignPrefs    Another program to simplify the assignments done in the startup
  13.         sequence.  The assignment list can be edited with AssignPrefs
  14.         and then stored for later use.  Version 1.02, includes source.

  17. Moontool    A port of John Walker's moontool program for UNIX.  It gives a
  18.         variety of statistics about the moon, including phase, dist-
  19.         ance, angular, size and time to next full moon.  A schematic
  20.         of the current phase is also shown as a picture.  This is
  21.         illustrative only; the accurate phase is shown in the text.
  22.         Now font-sensitive and will automatically use the user-defined
  23.         system font (non-proportional).  If the font is too large, the
  24.         program will fall-back to Topaz 8.  Version 1.1, an update to
  25.         version 1.0 on disk number 800.  Binary only.

  28. PickStartup    Allows you to select a startup-sequence of your liking.
  29.         Requires AmigaDOS 2.04+, includes source.

  32. StickIt        A computer replacement for the ol' Post-It note.  It allows
  33.         you to stick notes onto your screen which will be displayed
  34.         every time you re-boot; useful to remind you of things to do.
  35.         Features: Unlimited number of notes on screen; Notes remember
  36.         where you left them; User-defined font name/size; User-defined
  37.         note size; User-defined text/background colour (yep, they can
  38.         be yellow if you want !); User-defined delay at startup to
  39.         avoid disk thrashing; User-defined filename for note infor-
  40.         mation.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04+, version 1.02, includes
  41.         source.

  44. VirusChecker    A virus checker that can check memory, disk bootblocks, and
  45.         all disk files for signs of most known viruses.  Can remember
  46.         nonstandard bootblocks that you indicate are OK and not bother
  47.         you about them again.  Includes an ARexx port.  Now supports
  48.         SHI's Bootblock.library.  By using this library and its brain-
  49.         file you have the ability to add new Bootblock viruses as SHI
  50.         release new brainfiles.  Version 6.30, an update to version
  51.         6.22 on disk 825.  Binary only.

  54. VoiceShell    A replacement for VCLI by Richard Horne.  It doesn't have the
  55.         fancy graphics etc. but it seems to eat less CPU time and
  56.         should be faster overall.  It also has some extra options.
