  10.     I thought of this utility first when I saw that DPaint4.5 coudn't
  11.     change the screenmode of an animation. That's weird, today someone
  12.     should be able to create an animation in DBL mode, and change it
  13.     later (when it's finished) to a genlock-compatible mode. That would
  14.     be nice, Lee 'nd Dallas!
  15.  
  16.     "ChangeMode" can be used for any ILBM picture or animation, it will
  17.     display the modes that are available and let the user choose one of
  18.     them. It is intelligent, t.i. it won't display the modes that can't
  19.     be used. When changing the mode of an animation it will only show
  20.     the modes that can open a display (overscan) with the screen-width
  21.     and height. Pictures however can be assigned to a mode that has a
  22.     smaller display than the picture itself; those modes will be
  23.     listed together with the display-size - the modes where the screen-
  24.     size will be the same as the display-size will be printed in BOLD,
  25.     that will make it easier to choose...

  27.     Workbench:
  28.         Select the "ChangeMode" icon and all the pictures you want to change
  29.         the mode of. Then doubleclick ChangeMode or the last picture. You
  30.         will be asked to change the mode of all the selected pictures, one
  31.         by one.

  33.     Shell:
  34.         Type "ChangeMode" with the path and name (or pattern) of the ILBM
  35.         file(s) you want to change the mode of. All files that fit the
  36.         pattern will be tried, t.i. icons won't be recognised until tested.

  41.     The gui isn't very pretty, it's a shell-utility. Maybe I'll change that
  42.     in the future, if there's a reason for it. If you can think of anything
  43.     else to change.. register! There's no better way to support me.

  45.     Don't take public-domain software for granted... if it's worth something,
  46.     pay something! Commercial software would have been far more expensive!
