  7. This is a small update to Yak 1.56, look into the documentation for
  8. complete history of changes.

  11. Differences from versions prior to 1.5x
  12. ---------------------------------------

  14. 1.5 has been a  significant new release of Yak, with an improved interface 
  15. and more extensibility regarding hotkeys. Users of earlier versions should 
  16. at least briefly reread the documentation. If you currently use v1.3 or v1.4,
  17. you  should  run  the  supplied  Convert  program  to make preference files
  18. readable  by  Yak v1.5.  But do read the section directed at existing users
  19. in the documentation.

  21. If  you haven't used Yak before, you'll have no preferences to convert, and
  22. so  no  hotkeys  will  be  defined  when  you  start Yak as it is.
  23. The installer script will take care to install default preferences files in
  24. your S: drawer.
