  4. The files are usually in the directory \OZDEMO

  7. So ....... you have to CD \OZDEMO  before running most of the examples
  8.

  10.        Demonstration Files

  13. The OzGIS system is supplied with a complete set of sample external             
  14. data files so that the user can become familiar with the system.  These         
  15. files can be inspected to clarify the file formats.

  19.        Example geographic and attribute data             
  20.        -------------------------------------

  22. Generally there will be two data files for each map; a file that describes the  
  23. map boundaries and another for attribute data. 
  24.  
  25. The example files are:

  29. Attribute data file - FEA-A
  30. Geographic data file- FEA-G
  31.                                                                                 
  32. These files are supplied as data files and need entering with OzEnter. 
  33.                                                                                 
  34. 2. Lowe electorate (Sydney)
  35.                                                                                 
  36. Attribute data files- LOWE-A1 and LOWE-A2 
  37. Geographic data files- LOWE-G, LOWE-S1, LOWE-S2 
  38.                                                     
  39. These files are already entered, and can be immediately used as:

  41. Attribute files- LOWE1 and LOWE2 
  42. Geographic files- LOWE (zones), LOWES1, LOWES2(sites)

  57. The characteristics of devices and the appearance of maps are given by display  
  58. files. Data files are provided for all the device files supplied with the       
  59. system. There are two sets for 16 and 256 colour video boards, and also sets    
  60. for hatching and colour simulation on plotters etc.

  62. Files are already entered on the system and have already been used.

  64.        Marker data files

  67. These have already been entered, and are supplied with the system. They are     
  68. circle, diamond, hbar, nabla, plus, square, triangle, vbar. (You can of cource  
  69. have your own markers).
