  1. The Zipped programs on this CD-ROM are shareware and should be registered
  2. if you use them for more than a trial period. By registring you support the
  3. software developers and will ensure the continous release of this.
  4. So please pay for the programs that you use. Otherwise the authors may stop
  5. writing them and that would make the world a more boring place to live.

  7. The .GIF images on this CD-ROM are all shareware, public domain or the like, 
  8. the limitations on use for these images can wary. However, as a rule of thumb
  9. all the images can be used freely, as long as the are not used as, or as part 
  10. of any commercial product. Please look up the author for further information. 
  11. MediaProducts has gone to extremes in ensuring that all the material on this 
  12. CR-ROM is free to be distributed under the SHAREWARE/PUBLIC DOMAIN concept.
  13. However, due to the magnitude of programs on this CD-ROM, MediaProducts 
  14. cannot be held responsible for any file or image which contains such 
  15. copyrighted material. If you discover such material please contact your 
  16. supplier, with information on, on which CD-ROM you have found the material, 
  17. the name date and size of the file(s), then the offending file(s) will be 
  18. removed on the next production (pressing) of the disc, and from the software 
  19. archives at MediaProducts.

  21. The descriptions of the files are contained in each directory in the
  22. FILES.BBS plus a complete list is in ALLFILES.TXT.

  24. In each image directory there is a file called SHOWME.BAT, execute this to
  25. have a slideshow running directly from the CD-ROM. In the ROOT directory there
  26. are a file called SHOWALL.BAT, which shows all the images on this CD-ROM as a
  27. slideshow. There is also a file called DEMO.BAT, which shows all the images,
  28. over and over, until interrupted by pressing <Ctrl>+<Break>.

  30. To uncompress the programs on this CD-ROM, we suggest you use
  31. SHEZ, which is a very easy to use program.

  33. PKUNZIP 2.04g is in the \INSTALL\PKZIP204 directory.
  34. ARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241 directory
  35. UNARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241\UNARJ directory
  36. SCAN 113 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\SCAN directory
  37. CLEAN 113 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\CLEAN dirctory
  38. SHEZ 9.7 is in the \INSTALL\SHEZ directory
  39. VPIC 6.1 is in the \INSTALL\VPIC61 directory

  41. What you should do is to execute UNWARP.BAT with the letter of the drive 
  42. you want to have the CD-ROM essentials copied to (UNWARP C:).

  44. We have also added a few bonus programs to this CD-ROM, however they are not
  45. automatically installed together with the above products. Look in the \INSTALL
  46. directory to see whats there.
