Non-Voodoo3 card owners should ONLY download the noc52.exe and readme.txt files. This version of Nocturne fixes problems with hardware mixing and SoundBlaster Live cards. It also allows 2MB ATI 3D Expression cards to start Nocturne.
Voodoo3 card owners should ONLY download noc52voodoo3.exe. This version of Nocturne includes a fix that allows Voodoo3 cards running the 1.03.00 drivers from 3Dfx to run at full speed with hardware acceleration. If you do not have a Voodoo3 card, or you do not have these drivers, you should not install this patch. It also fixes problems with hardware mixing and SoundBlaster Live cards, and allows 2MB ATI 3D Expression cards to start Nocturne.
Unzip the files to the same location where you currently have Nocturne installed. If you install a new Act in Nocturne, this patch must be installed again after you have installed the new Act.
