The President is the name of Wayne‚Äôs group featuring Bill Frisell, Elliott Sharp, Bobby Previte, Dave Hofstra and Kamikaze Ground Crew member Doug Wieselman.  This is one of those records that every member of the staff was into, and we feel Wayne will be the next member of the downtown NY community to reach a larger audience.  The President is one of the most exciting bands in our neighborhood, and sounds like intellectuals playing the repertoire of the Meters.
