  2. (F)ile Directories - Function Help

  5. Subcommands:  (#) (D) (L) (N) (R) (U) (V) (Z) (NS)

  7.               (#) the directory number to view
  8.               (D) Download a specific filename
  9.               (L) Locate Files by Name (wildcarding OK)
  10.               (N) Locate Files by Date Scan
  11.               (R) Re-lists the directory menu
  12.               (U) Display Upload Directory
  13.               (V) View contents of a compressed file
  14.               (Z) Zippy DIR Scan by Text Search
  15.               (NS) displays request in non-stop mode

  17. Description:  This command allows you to view a listing of the files
  18.               available.  After selecting (F), a listing of the file
  19.               directories available will be shown - usually grouped by
  20.               category.  To view one or more of the directory listing
  21.               files, enter the number to view.  Multiple listings
  22.               can be viewed at the same time by entering several numbers
  23.               at the same time.

  27.               By adding the (NS) non-stop parameter at the end of your
  28.               request, the entire listing will be displayed with screen
  29.               pauses every 23 lines.

  31.               You can use the (V)iew ARC subcommand to view the files
  32.               included in a .ARC file listed in one of the directories.
  33.               If you elect to (D)ownload the file just (V)iewed, the filename
  34.               of the ArcViewed file will automatically be carried forward as
  35.               the download filename request unless over-ridden by you.

  37.               Aditionally, you can request a download of a specific file
  38.               from the (F)ile Subcommand prompt to avoid having to return
  39.               to the main menu.  Also, you can request a Download,
  40.               Upload, or the ArcViewing of any file at all "More?"
  41.               prompts while scanning a file directory.
