HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS INSTRUCTIONS
ONE PLAYER - JOYSTICK
USE THE STICK TO DETERMINE YOUR DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT.
IF YOU ARE PLAYING DEFENSE, USE BUTTON 1 TO BLOCK AND
BUTTON 2 TO STEAL. IF YOU ARE PLAYING OFFENSE, USE
BUTTON 1 TO PASS THE BALL. THE POSITION OF THE STICK
DETERMINES THE DIRECTION OF YOUR PASS. IF THERE IS
NO ONE IN THE DIRECTION YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO PASS,
YOU WILL NOT PASS THE BALL. USE BUTTON 2 TO SHOOT THE
BALL. THE BALL WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL YOU RELEASE
THE BUTTON. IF YOU HOLD BUTTON 2 DOWN TOO LONG, YOU
WILL NOT RELEASE THE BALL AND YOU WILL BE CALLED FOR A
TRAVELLING VIOLATION. IF YOU ARE CONTROLLING THE HARLEM
GLOBETROTTERS, USE THE DIRECTION OF THE STICK IN CONJUNCTION
WITH BUTTON 2 TO PERFORM TRICK SHOTS.
DOWN - BOUNCE SHOT
DOWN LEFT - KICK SHOT
LEFT - SOMMERSAULT SHOT
UP LEFT - FLYING SLAM DUNK
UP - PIGGY BACK SHOT
IN ORDER TO PERFORM CERTAIN SHOTS, YOU MUST BE IN A CERTAIN
POSITION ON THE COURT. FOR EXAMPLE, TO PERFORM THE PIGGY
BACK SHOT, YOU MUST BE POSITIONED DIRECTLY BEHIND A TEAM MATE
AND YOU MUST BE NEAR THE TOP OF THE KEY.
ONE PLAYER - KEYBOARD
THE KEYPAD FUNCTIONS EXACTLY LIKE THE STICK ON A JOYSTICK. THE
UP ARROW IS UP, THE LEFT ARROW IS LEFT, HOME IS UP LEFT, ETC.
USE THE KEYPAD TO POSITION YOUR PLAYER. THE INSERT KEY IS
USED AS JOYSTICK BUTTON 1 (PASSING AND BLOCKING). THE ENTER KEY
IS USED AS JOYSTICK BUTTON 2 (SHOOTING AND STEALING). USE THE
INSERT KEY IN CONJUNCTION WITH DIRECTIONAL KEYS TO PASS THE BALL
TO ANOTHER PLAYER. USE THE DIRECTION KEYS WITH ENTER TO PERFORM
TRICK SHOTS.
TWO PLAYER - JOYSTICK
THE SECOND JOYSTICK IS USED EXACTLY LIKE JOYSTICK 1 IN ONE PLAYER
MODE.
TWO PLAYER - KEYBOARD
ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD, THE DIRECTIONAL KEYS ARE:

USE THE CTRL KEY FOR PASSING AND BLOCKING AND THE TAB KEY FOR SHOOTING
AND STEALING.
