  3. INSTALLATION NOTES (LaserJet Fonts & Printer Drivers)
  4.      Downloadable fonts for HP LaserJet and compatible printers are
  5. contained in a packed file named FONTS.EXE.  The fonts must be
  6. unpacked (restored to their normal size) before they can be used.
  7. The FD and WORKCOPY installation routines described on page 2-3 and
  8. 2-5 of the User's Guide automatically prepare the fonts for use.
  9.      If you are using an HP LaserJet and you don't use the FD or WORKCOPY
  10. installation routines, you must prepare the files:
  11.      1) Copy the file FONTS.EXE to the disk or directory you will be
  12. using.  You must have approximately 180K bytes of free disk space.
  13.      2)  At the DOS prompt for this disk or directory, type:   FONTS
  14. The fonts unpack themselves automatically.
  15.      If you are not using an HP LaserJet, you can skip the unpacking or
  16. delete fonts unpacked by FD or WORKCOPY.  Font files have the
  17. extensions #&L, #&P, #&1, and #&2.
  18.      If you are using a 5 1/4" floppy-diskette system (w/o a fixed disk),
  19. the files PRINTER0.BIN and PRINTER1.BIN must be on all diskettes.  It is 
  20. recommended that you use the WORKCOPY routine to insure that this happens.

  22. ROTATING YOUR PAPER SIDEWAYS IN DOT-MATRIX PRINTERS
  23.      If you want to rotate your paper sideways without actually printing
  24. landscape, press Ctrl-F6 from the Main Menu.  Select YES to reverse the
  25. paper orientation.  Then select PORTRAIT in Alternate Settings--F7.
