CDPlayer for Windows
Setting up to run under windows 3.0 or later.
CDPlayer will run under windows 3.0 or later. The following steps will add
CDPlayer to your windows system.
1 Unpack the contents of the ZIP file to a floppy disk or a scratch
directory on your hard disk.
2 Launch windows
3 Click on File and then Run
4 Enter A:SETUP and click Continue - replace A with the letter
appropriate to your floppy disk or the path of the temporary drive.
5 Follow the instructions on the screen.
The install program will install CDPlayer for windows in a directory called
CDplayer on drive C by default, create a Program Group called Jupiter and
create a Program Item for CDPlayer. You may change the default directory
during installation but if you do the system will not register CDPlayer's
icon, you will have to do this manually.
To register CDplayer's icon (if it is not shown in the Program Group)
1 Make sure the CDPlayer Program Item has Focus by clicking on it
2 Click on File and the Properties
3 Click on Change Icon and use browse to locate the program, which is
called PLAYER.EXE and will be in the directory you selected for
installation. Select the program and accept the CD icon.
You may launch CDPlayer by double clicking on the icon in the Jupiter Program
Group.
