ocr: South Bend Visitors to South Bend can tour the Studebaker National Museum. In the 1850s, the Studebaker family built army wagons that were used in the Civil War. Later, in the early 1900s, they built the popular Studebaker cars. The town is also home to the University of Notre Dame.
