******* CUCUG.anim ******
This animation of the CUCUG logo was done for, and donated to the
Champaign-Urbana Commodore Users Group, of which I'm a member. The club and
it's Amiga SIG each meet monthly at the University of Illinois campus.
Cucug.anim is freely redistributable for non-commercial use.
Newmovie (the player) is by Byte-by-Byte corp. and is also freely
distributable.
Newmovie MUST operate with a user stack of at least 8k. Also, 1 Meg of
memory or more will be required to execute this demo. Then from the CLI
execute with "cd Badge_Cucug:Cucug" then "Newmovie Cucug.anim". The
animation will repeat continuously. Exit with ESC.
... or ...
From any standard Workbench of at least 1 Meg, start demo with it's ICON.
This will take care of the stack, tool AND allow the SOUND file to execute
with the animation. Exit with ESC.
The animation is a sequence of 24 RAY TRACED images rendered in HAM mode
LO-RES using SCULPT 3D by Byte-by-Byte. The images were embellished using
PHOTON PAINT by Microillusions and then packed into an animation file using
DILBM and PILBM by Byte-by-Byte from the Fred Fish library
.
The entire process was done on my Amiga 500 with the 512k add on memory.
I was introduced to SCULPT 3D and the Amiga less than a year ago. I've been
quite impressed by the ease, power and utility of both. I also still use an
Apple IIe computer and nearly upgraded to an Apple IIGS, but luckily I saw
the Amiga 500 first.
I hope you enjoy the animation.
