SCRUB
This is a little program to help you clean your disk drives. Stick a disk
cleaner in a drive, wait till it settles down, and then run Scrub. It will
find which drive has the cleaner in it (it looks for any non-DOS disk, first
in DF0:, then DF1:, DF2:, and DF3:) and spin it for thirty seconds, moving
the heads back and forth to different cylinders. Run it from Workbench
(double click the scrub brush icon) or from CLI. In the latter case, you may
prefer to say "run scrub" instead of just "scrub", so you can use the CLI for
something else while it's running. It won't produce any messages unless it
can't find a disk to clean or there's no memory. It shouldn't do any harm if
it happens to hit a real disk (perhaps an ms-dos disk being used by CrossDOS
or something), just pop the disk out if that happens. It's pure.
Scrub is by Paul Kienitz, public domain.
