  1. This is disk 445 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. MWTape        A tape handler which uses scsi.device to implement serial
  6.         access to typical streaming tape devices.  Includes source.
  7.         Author:  Markus Wandel
  8.  
  9. OptMouse    A program which allows you to use a Mouse Systems M3 serial
  10.         mouse on the Amiga and instructions which allow a serial
  11.         mouse to be modified to plug directly into the Amiga mouse
  12.         port.  Useful as an example of how to "fake" mouse movements
  13.         and may be of use in writing drivers for digitizers, light
  14.         pens, and the like.  Includes source.

  17. Tar        A port of a UNIX tar clone that can work with the TAPE:
  18.         handler (also on this disk) to read and write UNIX tar
  19.         compatible tapes.  Includes source.

  22. TurboText    An almost fully operational demonstration copy of a new
  23.         sophisticated text editor for the Amiga.  Features many
  24.         unique capabilities including an impressive ARexx interface
  25.         with over 140 commands available, full outlining abilities,
  26.         clipboard support, complete reconfigurability, recorded
  27.         macros, programmer's calculator, emulations of many popular
  28.         text editors, and much more.  This demo version does not
  29.         allow saving or printing of documents and limits the size
  30.         of cut and paste operations.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  33. UUCP        A bug fix for UUCP 1.08 released on disks 442 and 443, which
  34.         had already been finalized at the time this fix reached me so
  35.         could not be included there.  Fixes a serious bug in uucico.
