  1. ReadMe for ToolManager 1.3                                          13.03.1991

  3. With ToolManager you can add your own programs to the Tools menu of the 2.0
  4. Workbench. The programs can now be started by selecting their entries in the
  5. Tools menu. The user can select icons from the Workbench, which will be the
  6. startup parameters for a tool.
  7.  
  8. BEWARE: This program makes heavely use of the new 2.0 functions, so its
  9.         completely useless to all people who are still forced to use 1.3 :-)

  11. New features since 1.2:
  12.    - Now supports different configuration files
  13.    - Format of the configuration file slightly changed
  14.    - Tool definitions can be changed at runtime
  15.    - Now supports CLI & Workbench startup method
  16.    - Selected icons are passed as parameters to the tools
  17.    - Now uses the startup icon as program icon if started from Workbench
  18.    - The position of the icon can now be supplied in the configuration file
  19.    - The program icon can now be disabled
  20.    - New menu entry "Show TM Window"
  21.    - Every new started ToolManager passes its startup parameters to the
  22.      already running ToolManager process
