  1. CPalette

  3. A palette adjusting program that can be brought up on just about any
  4. screen, including HAM and EHB.
  5.  
  6. By now I imagine most people are used to color palette requestors
  7. so using the program shouldn't be any problem.
  8.  
  9. It has color gadgets for each color number, sliders to adjust the RGB
  10. components of that color and two other gadgets: NextSCRN & Cancel.
  11.  
  12. NextSCRN hops you to another screen and brings up the requestor there.
  13. Cancel resets the color palette to what it was before any changes were
  14. made on that screen.
  15.  
  16. Things to consider:
  17.  - On certain screens the color sliders may disappear.  They are still
  18.    there just for some reason in the background color.
  19.    Just "feel" around for them.
  20.  - If you've never played with the palette of a HAM picture give it a
  21.    try.  I don't know why most requestors refuse to work with HAM.
  22.  - EHB has 64 colors but you only have control or 32 so thats all 
  23.    you'll have to choose from.
  24.  - While CP can't do anything with a screen with a dynamic palette
  25.    such as SHAM and DynamicHiRES, it is an educational experience to
  26.    try it.

  28. The only known way to crash this program is by changing to a screen 
  29. smaller than the minimum dimensions of the requestor window which is
  30. fairly small, ei. viewing a small IFF brush on its own.
