  15. DESCRIPTION
  16.  
  17.      ShellTerm is a terminal program that runs in a Shell. It 
  18.      doesn't open its own screen or window. This allows you to use 
  19.      a serial port through another one. One example of this would 
  20.      be calling a BBS, going into a DOS-shell, run ShellTerm and 
  21.      use another node to call out. Another example would be to use 
  22.      a terminal hooked up to one port on your Amiga to call with a 
  23.      modem on another port.

  25.      ShellTerm isn't long, only 23kB, and has lots of options. It 
  26.      doesn't support uploads/downloads directly, but these can be 
  27.      done with separate RZ and SZ programs (Not included).

  29. NEW FEATURES

  31.      This version should now work on all serial.device compatible 
  32.      devices. This includes the A2232 and Supra 2400zi internal 
  33.      modem, etc. This version also works with DNet.
  34.  
  35.      CTS/RTS handshaking is also available.

  37. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  38.  
  39.      ShellTerm requires Kickstart 2.04 or higher. A modem or other 
  40.      device connected to a serial port is also needed. For uploads/
  41.      downloads the programs RZ and SZ are required (ZModem). There 
  42.      is also a program called AZ by Steve Drew that replaces these. 
  43.      It can be found on AmiNet in an archive called auxsupport.lzh 
  44.      (/pub/aminet/comm/net).
