  7. Browser        A "Programmer's Workbench".  Allows you to easily and
  8.         conveniently move, copy, rename, and delete files &
  9.         directories from a CLI environment.  Also provides a
  10.         method to execute either Workbench or CLI programs by
  11.         double-clicking them or by selecting them from a ParM
  12.         like Menu with lots of arguments.  A Browser 1.6 replace-
  13.         ment, does everything Browser 1.6 does and a lot more.

  17. CLIExe        An XIcon style program which uses parm.library. It allows
  18.         you to execute a script starting from WB and is completely
  19.         CLI compatible, because it is a CLI.  Can use a real script
  20.         file or take commands in its own TOOLTYPES.  Includes source
  21.         in C.  Version 1.0.

  24. ParM        Parameterable Menu.  ParM allows you to build menus to run
  25.         whatever program you have on a disk.  ParM can run programs
  26.         either in WorkBench or CLI mode.  This is an alternative to
  27.         MyMenu which can run only when workbench is loaded.  ParM
  28.         can have it's own little window, can attach menus to the CLI
  29.         window you are running it from, or to the WB menus, just like
  30.         MyMenu.  This is version 3.00, an update to version 2.5r on
  31.         disk 419.  Includes source in C.

  34. PatchReq    A patch for system requesters and arp file requester.  Replace 
  35.         arp file requester with the great req.library file requester.

  40. Req        An enhanced version of the interface to req.library for Aztec
  41.         C 5.0.  Pragmas supplied and glues put in a library rather

  45. SANA        Release 2 of the Standard Amiga Network Architecture device
  46.         driver specification.  This is a specification for the device

  55. WBRun        A RunBack style program which use parm.library.  Runs programs
  56.         in WB mode from any CLI. Programs are fully detached.  The

  67. 4D        Two programs for visualizing four-dimensional objects.
  68.         The Tesseract program displays the three-dimensional
  69.         projects of a hyper-cube (tesseract), a hyper-octahedron or
  70.         a hyper-tetrahedron.  These can be rotated in three and
  71.         four dimensions.  The 4D Navigator program moves you
  72.         through the three-dimensional surface of a four-dimensional
  73.         sphere.  Version 1.01 for both.  Binary only.  Source

  77. GIFMachine    A program that will convert CompuServe GIF image files
  78.         into IFF SHAM and 24bit ILBMs.  It offers a number of

  81.         KickStart version 2.0 or greater to run.  This is version
  82.         2.137, an update to version 2.116 on disk 458.  Includes
  83.         source.

  86. Llamatron    A fast action, arcade style game, guaranteed to have your
  87.         FILE button finger dangling off at the tendons.  Hours of

  102. Thinkamania    Playable demo version of a game like the legendary memory
  103.         game.  Includes superb hires graphics and sound effects.

  113. BootX           Yet another virus killer.  BootX can check the bootblock
  114.                 of a disk, check memory for any resident viruses, and
  115.                 scan a disk for link viruses.  It can load bootblock
  116.                 libraries for you to write on your disks as an alternative
  117.                 for the boring DOS install bootblock.  It can load brain
  118.                 files so you can add any new bootblocks that BootX does
  119.                 not yet recognize.  BootX is written completely in assembly
  120.                 for maximum speed and minimum size.  Fully supports
  121.                 AmigaDOS 2.0.  Version 3.80d, an update to version 3.40 on
  122.                 disk 420.  Binary only.

  125. ChemniMaTe    A program to make animations of chemical reactions with the
  126.         purpose of recording it on a video tape.  It is a programming
  127.         language, containing expressions, nested loops, etc.  It can
  128.         handle molecules with in total up to 64 atoms, and lines
  129.         between    atoms.  Works correctly under PAL.  Version 0.8,
  130.         examples and source (in DICE C) included.

  133. PowerSnap       A utility that allows you to use the mouse to mark characters
  134.                 anywhere on the screen, and then paste them somewhere else,
  135.                 such as in another CLI or in a string gadget.  Checks what
  136.                 font is used in the window you snap from and will look for
  137.                 the position of the characters automatically.  Recognizes all
  138.                 non proportional fonts of up to 24 pixels wide and of any
  139.                 height.  Works with AmigaDOS 2.0 in both shell and WorkBench
  140.                 environments.  This is version 1.1, an update to version 1.0
  141.                 on disk 467.  Binary only.

  144. PP        Powerpacker Patcher is a small tool that patches the DOS
  145.         library so that PowerPacker datafiles will start acting
  146.         as if they were "normal" files.  Sample use of PP would be
  147.         to crunch all ".info" files.  The icons will retain their
  148.         functionality as long as PP is installed, and WB will never
  149.         know the difference.  Icons are useful, but take up a lot
  150.         of valuable disk space.  You may also use any text viewer,
  151.         editor or IFF tool (or anything!) you desire directly on
  152.         Powerpacker files! This is version 1.3, an update to version
  153.         1.0 on disk 515.  Shareware, includes full source.

  156. PPAnim        An anim player for normal IFF ANIM opt 5 (DPaint III,...)
  157.         files or ANIM files crunched with PowerPacker.  The
  158.         decrunching is done automatically as the file is read.
  159.         Features many command line options, palette change during
  160.         animation, full overscan PAL/NTSC support and yet it is
  161.         only 7K.  Compatible with AmigaDOS 2.0.  Some new 2.0
  162.         features (Asl requester) supported.  Version 1.0a, an update

  166. PPLoadSeg    This program patches the loadseg routine to automatically
  167.         recognize files crunched with PowerPacker.  After running
  168.         PPLoadSeg crunched libraries and devices are still recognized
  169.         by AmigaDOS.  You can even crunch fonts and use them as
  170.         normally.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  173. PPMore        A "more" replacement program that reads normal ascii text
  174.         files as well as files crunched with PowerPacker.  The
  175.         crunched files can result in considerable disk space savings.

  177.         Enhancements include a Workbench 2.0 3D look under 1.3 and

  194. RemapInfo    An icon color remapping tool that swaps the colors black and
  195.         white.  The program runs on 1.3, but when run on 2.0 it
  196.         supports the AppIcon feature.  It allows you to drag all icons
  197.         you wish to remap on RemapInfo's AppIcon to recolor them.

  201. Selector    A program that helps you assemble programs on a boot disk
  202.         and start them in a user friendly way by putting up a window

  207. TheGuru        A program every Amiga fan should have.  Puts the guru back
  208.         in Kickstart 2.0.  A comeback you will not want to miss.

  215. VCLI        Voice Command Line Interface (VCLI) is an Amiga voice
  216.         recognition program that learns and recognizes a set of
  217.         voice commands.  Each voice command is associated with an
  218.         Amiga CLI command that is executed when an incoming voice
  219.         command is recognized.  VCLI allows the execution of any
  220.         Amiga CLI command by voice.  Requires the Perfect Sound 3
  221.         audio digitizer.  This is Version 2.0 of VCLI which offers
  222.         improved performance, improved operability, and improved
  223.         graphics for voiceprint display.  Binary only.

  239. Badger        Reminder program for your startup-sequence.  Badger will
  240.         open a window and display any important events that are 
  241.         'due'.  Badger will not bother you if there is nothing to
  242.         report.  Events are entered via menu and prompts.  This

  244.         Includes many new features such as event editing and
  245.         automatic holiday notification.  Shareware, binary only.

  248. ColorCatch    A utility that lets you grab colors from a screen and save
  249.         them as an executable file.  This is version 2.0, an update

  253. Day2Day        A small program which can calculate the number of days
  254.         between two dates.  Very useful, if for example, you want
  255.         to know how many days you have been alive.  This is version

  259. MouseXY        A small utility that shows the mouse coordinates and the
  260.         color at that position.  It can be moved from screen to
  261.         screen (automatically evacuates any closing screen).  Is

  264.         an update to version 1.0 on disk 483.  Includes source in
  265.         assembler.

  268. PictSaver    A small utility that allows you cut rectangular portions
  269.         of any screen and store them on disk as IFF-ILBM files.
  270.         Also allows easy saving of windows and entire screens to

  272.         1.0 on disk 494.  Includes source in assembler.

  275. PReader        An all purpose reader that displays text, pictures, sounds,
  276.         and animations, all of which may be uncompressed or compressed
  277.         with a companion compression program (not included).  Text can
  278.         include embedded static or animated illustrations and sounds.

  282. Spectrogram    Amiga Spectrogram computes a frequency analysis of any 8 bit
  283.         audio data file and creates a high resolution color display
  284.         showing frequency content versus time.  Display color is
  285.         continuously adjustable.  This type of display when applied
  286.         to the human voice has been called a voiceprint. This tech-
  287.         nique has also been used to analyze sounds of many kinds of
  288.         animals including birds, dolphins, whales, etc.  The audio
  289.         data file can be replayed at any desired rate, giving a
  290.         simultaneous audio and visual representation of the sample.
  291.         A selection of interesting audio samples for analysis by
  292.         Amiga Spectrogram is included.  Version 6.3, binary only.

  301. WBplane        Two very small tools to change the depth of the Workbench
  302.         screen.  AddWBplane adds a bitplane.  SubWBplane subtracts

  327.         your landing craft over a three dimensional fractal lunar

  330.         your craft over, around, and behind the lunar peaks.

  369.         for saving and printing displays, and general tightening of
  370.         the source code. Accelerated version requiring a 68020 CPU
  371.         and 68881 FPU also provided.  Full source code included.

  382. 2View        2View is a ILBM picture viewer for use under Workbench 2.0.
  383.         It supports all standard Amiga graphics modes, ARexx, and
  384.         both the CLI and Workbench.  A list of files to display can
  385.         be used, or each filename can be given individually.  Each
  386.         picture that is displayed can be shown for a specified
  387.         amount of time, or until the user clicks on the left mouse
  388.         button.  Version 1.11, includes source.

  396. DiskPrint    Prints disk labels (for 3.5" and 5.25" disks), primarily
  397.                 for FD library disks, with the ability to create, handle,
  398.                 load and save label library files so labels for most FD

  400.                 include different label sizes, library files, directory-
  401.                 read-in, direct disk contents read-in, label library
  402.                 functions and printing labels for a whole serie of disks
  403.                 in one turn.  Works fine with every printer connected to
  404.                 the parallel port.  This is version 3.1.2, an update to

  409.         directly off the hard drive.  The sound sample is played as

  415. Icons        Two collections of high-quality, consistently designed
  416.         icons for the Amiga Workbench.  The color collections will
  417.         require an 8 color Workbench (i.e. Workbench 2.0).  The
  418.         black and white collections are useable on any normal 4
  419.         color Workbench.  One set of icons is based on the icons
  420.         supplied with the GEM windowing system, and the other set
  421.         is modeled after the icons on a Silicon Graphics Personal
  422.         Iris.  A bonus set of ray-traced icons is included.

  425. WBLink        WBLink corrects a deficiency in Workbench 2.0: the inability

  438. EasyExpress    A compiler tool for the users of Charlie Gibbs' A68k
  439.         assembler and The Software Distillery's BLink.  EasyExpress 
  440.         does the same job better than your batch file and is much
  441.         easier to change for current use.  If you use many object
  442.         files, EasyExpress can make your life much easier.  You can
  443.         do almost everything via mouse and just watch how easily
  444.         the compilation of your program happens.  Binary only.

  447. FindName    A program to be used in scripts.  It allows you to verify
  448.         the presence of certain structures in RAM.  You can currently
  449.         search for devices, libraries, memory, messageports, resources

  454. MMBShift    A program that lets you use the middle mouse-button (MMB)

  460. PowerSource    A program for creating and editing intuition gadgets and
