  7. Imperial    An oriental game in which you have to remove tiles from a
  8.         layout (like Shanghai or Taipei).  Every game has a solution
  9.         and there's a layout editor.  English NTSC version and
  10.         French PAL version supplied.  Some other versions available
  11.         from the author.  Version 2.0, binary only, shareware.

  14. Minesweeper    Yet another minesweeper game.  This one forgives the
  15.         player, when he hits a mine, if no useful inferences
  16.         could be made from the exposed information.  The element

  20. PowerPlayer    A very powerful, user friendly and system friendly module
  21.         player.  It can handle nearly all module-formats,
  22.         can read powerpacked & xpk-packed modules and comes along

  24.         Has a simple to use userinterface and an ARexx port,
  25.         has locale-support and a nice installer script for CBM's

  36. FIVE-STAR    Demo version of a powerful prediction tool for LOTTO,
  37.         POOLS, SWEEP, DIGIT (eg 4d) and HORSE (races) systems
  38.         available worldwide.  The program uses an identical
  39.         framework for all five systems but they are run com-
  40.         pletely individually so that any number of them can
  41.         be used simultaneously.  All records, updates, pre-
  42.         dictions, bets and results are stored separately and
  43.         can be saved to disk or sent to the printer at any time.
  44.         This demo version is supplied with a very basic manual
  45.         and is completely functional except for data input.

  49. MPMaster    A useful MIDI program that enables to transmit/receive
  50.         samples via MIDI between the Amiga and any MIDI device
  51.         that supports the MIDI Sample Dump Standard format (such
  52.         as the Yamaha SY85 synthesizer).  It has a WorkBench
  53.         interface, can play samples and all settings of the sample
  54.         can be modified before transmission.  Includes a circuit
  55.         to build a very small MIDI interface.  Distributed in two
  56.         languages: English and Spanish.  Requires WorkBench 2.04

  68.         viewing pictures, editing files, etc.  EnvTool will send
  69.         the associated file to either the tool specified by an
  70.         environment variable, or a selected default tool if the
  71.         environment variable is not set.  Version 0.1, includes
  72.         source in C.

  75. EZAsm        Combines 68000 assembly language with parts of C.
  76.         Produces highly optimized code.  Uses C-like function calls
  77.         ( supports all 3.0 functions ), taglists, braces, "else",

  79.         and Blink, for a complete programming environment.
  80.         This is version 1.8, an update to version 1.7 on disk 699.

  84. MuchMore    Another program like "more", "less", "pg", etc.  This one
  85.         uses its own screen or a public screen to show the text
  86.         using a slow scroll.  Includes built-in help, commands to
  87.         search for text, and commands to print the text.  Supports
  88.         4 color text in bold, italic, underlined, or inverse fonts.
  89.         Can load xpk crunched files.  Has a display mode requester.
  90.         Is localized with German, Italian, French, and Swedish cat-
  91.         alog files.  Supports pipes.  Requires KickStart 2.04 or
  92.         later.  This is version 4.2, an update to version 3.6 on
  93.         disk number 935.  Includes source in Oberon-2.

  96. ToolAlias    Provides  a  mechanism  for rerouting specific programs
  97.         to other programs.  For example, with ToolAlias, you could
  98.         reroute all references to ':c/muchmore'  to use 'sys:util-
  99.         ities/ppmore' instead, so that when browsing documents on
  100.         a Fish disk, you get to use your favourite text viewer,
  101.         rather than loading the one specified in the document's
  102.         ToolTypes.  Requires OS2.0+.  Version 1.02, Includes source.

  105. Touch        Another Amiga version of the Unix utility with the same
  106.         name.  Touch changes the date and time stamp of all speci-
  107.         fied files to the current date and time.  This version will
  108.         also create an empty file (like the Unix version) if the
  109.         specified file does not exist.  Version 1.2, an update to
  110.         version 1.0 on disk 919.  Public domain, includes source.

  132. SIOD        An interpreter for the algorithmic language Scheme, a dia-
  133.         lect of LISP developed at MIT.  Siod is a C implementation
  134.         that covers a large part of the standard and can be run
  135.         with a small amount of memory (also runs on old A500 NOT
  136.         expanded).  It is the ideal tool to learn the language or
  137.         for experimenting with functional languages.  Version 2.6,
  138.         includes source and examples.  Based on the original code
  139.         from Paradigm Inc.  An update to version 2.4 on disk number

  143. Split!        A high-speed file splitter.  Splits a large file into
  144.         several smaller files (size is user-definable).  Due
  145.         to the use of a 32k buffer, Split! is up to 14 times

  157. Angie        ANother Great Intuition Enhancer commodity that can be
  158.         used to assign AngieSequences that can consist of dozens
  159.         of Intuition related actions, arbitrary dos commands
  160.         and input event data to an unlimited number of hotkeys.
  161.         Furthermore, these AngieSequences can be executed via
  162.         ARexx.  Angie's capabilities include auto window hunting,
  163.         auto ActiveWinTask priority increment, 'TWA' window
  164.         remembering, auto DefPubScreen definition, etc.  Angie
  165.         comes with a comfortable Intuition user interface and
  166.         is completely localized.  Includes English and German

  175.         Portugese, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic,
  176.         Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Romanian, Turkish and Indonesian.

  181. RIVer        This program searches an embedded version ID in a file.
  182.         Like the 'Version' command you can check the version and
  183.         revision number of a file.  You can also add this embedded
  184.         version ID as a filenote, or print it in a table where each
  185.         field of the ID is clearly stated.  You can also construct
  186.         your own version comment using embedded version ID fields.

  217. UChess        A powerful version of the program GnuChess version 4 for the
  218.         Amiga.  Plays a very strong game of chess.  Code has been
  219.         rewritten and data structures reorganized for optimal effi-
  220.         ciency on 32 bit 68020 and better Amiga systems.  Fully
  221.         multitasking, automatically detects and supports 640X480X256
  222.         color AGA mode machines, and does not at any time BUSY wait.
  223.         Requires a 68020/030/040 based Amiga computer system with
  224.         AmigaOS 2.04 or later and 4 Meg of ram minimum.  Special "L"
  225.         version optimized for 68040 and requires 10 Meg of ram mini-
  226.         mum.  Supports a variety of standard features such as load,
  227.         save, edit board, autoplay, swap sides, force move, undo,
  228.         time limits, hints, show thinking, and a supervisor mode
  229.         that will allow two humans to play with the computer acting

  240. CDTV-Player    A utility for all those people, who'd like to play Audio
  241.         CD's while multitasking on WorkBench.  It's an emulation of
  242.         CDTV's remote control, but is a little more sophisticated.
  243.         Allows access to the archive even without a CDROM drive
  244.         (i.e. AMIGA 500-4000), although you can't play a CD.  Pro-
  245.         gram and KARAOKE (live on-screen) included.  Recognizes CDs
  246.         automatically.  Works on all CDTVs, AMIGA CD 32 and all CD
  247.         ROM emulating the cdtv.device or cd.device.  Version 2.31,

  329.         nizes all non-proportional fonts of up to 24 pixels wide
  330.         and of any height.  Works with AmigaDOS 2.0 in both shell
  331.         and WorkBench environments.  This is version 2.2, an up-

  345.         ical front-end (Integrated Development Environment) is

  356. LazyBench    A little utility for lazy people with a hard disk crammed
  357.         full of goodies which are too difficult to reach because
  358.         they are buried away in drawers inside drawers inside
  359.         drawers inside drawers...  LazyBench installs itself as a
  360.         commodity, adds an item under the Workbench "Tools" menu
  361.         and waits in the background.  Use its hot key combination
  362.         to pop up its window and select an item from the list
  363.         displayed, thus launching your favourite application
  364.         without messing around with windows and drawers.  Font
  365.         sensitive, Style Guide compliant and fully configurable.
