  7. Databench    Databench is a new low-cost Database with some nice features
  8.         like fast search, filter, password, import/export and more.

  13. QuickFile    A flexible, fast and easy to use flat file database using ran-

  31. VirusZ        A virus detector that recognizes over 500 bootblocks (200 boot
  32.         viruses) and over 95 file viruses.  The filechecker can also
  33.         decrunch files for testing.  The memory checker removes  all
  34.         known viruses from memory without 'Guru  Meditation' and
  35.         checks memory for viruses regularly.  VirusZ has easy to use
  36.         intuitionized menus including keycuts for both beginners and
  37.         experienced users.  VirusZ performs a self-test on every
  38.         startup to prevent link virus infection.  Written entirely in
  39.         assembly language and operates with Kickstart 1.2/1.3, OS 2.0

  73.         geon level.  As you explore more of the level, it appears on
  74.         the screen in front of you.  Nethack generates a new dungeon
  75.         every time it is played, thus even veteran players will con-
  76.         tinue to find it entertaining and exciting.  This is part 1

  111. AlphMan        A programmer tool which may help you to create an intuition or
  112.         gadtools user interface.  It opens a window with a gadget for
  113.         each keyboard key.  If you press a key the dependent gadget
  114.         will be disabled.  So you may check whether a key has been
  115.         used or not.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04 or higher.  Version 1.00,

  153.         are archiving or dearchiving files.  You can do it all with
  154.         the click of a mouse button, instead of typing in a whole line
  155.         in the CLI.  Version 1.35, an update to version 1.03 on disk
  156.         799.  Now supports KickStart 2.xx as well as 1.3.  Supports
  157.         several archiving formats including LHa, Zoo, Arc, UnArj, and

  161. ASokoban    An implementation of the UNIX game Sokoban for the Amiga.
  162.         Has the original 85 levels of the UNIX game, a nice Intuition

  167. VirusChecker    A virus checker that can check memory, disk bootblocks, and
  168.         all disk files for signs of most known viruses.  Can remember
  169.         nonstandard bootblocks that you indicate are OK and not bother

  171.         an update to version 6.06 on disk 680.  Binary only.

  174. WComm        A commodity which enables the user to manipulate windows with
  175.         43 user definable hotkey commands.  You can move, size, re-
  176.         size, set to prefs, zoom, exclude, include, close tile cascad-
  177.         ing, and kill windows. You can cycle screens.  WComm also has
  178.         a title clock, a palette window (with up to 256 colours), a
  179.         popup shell, and a notify system, which can inform you about
  180.         any important event and date, such as the birthdays of your
  181.         friends, etc.  You may also automatically start any command,
  182.         a backup for example, at specific intervals.  WComm is control-
  183.         led by some configuration files and can be handled by the use
  184.         of the several asynchronous windows.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04

  201. Date2Day    A simple program that gives the day name for the date selected
  202.         by three gadgets.  Uses GadTools library, so requires AmigaDOS

  206. DMEFReq        A tool to replace the arp filerequester calls of dme or other
  207.         editors with the asl one.  It saves the selections to some env

  213. MemSnap        A small memory monitor useful for seeing how much memory

  220. SoftLock    A program to help prevent unauthorized access of your bootable
  221.         hard drive by requiring a password each time you reboot.  Has
  222.         been tested under both AmigaDOS 1.3 and 2.04.  This is version

  224.         binary only.

  234.         after each field.  The number of entries depends only on the
  235.         free memory.  Has a lot of print options including a print to
  236.         screen function.  Has a full online help system.  Includes
  237.         both German and English versions.  Is font independent and
  238.         has been tested under 2.04 and 3.0.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04
  239.         or higher.  This is version 1.52, freeware, binary only.

  242. AskReq        This is another batchfile requester. It displays a message
  243.         and prompts the user for a string or optionally for a number.
  244.         It may be also used to request a choice between the specified

  246.         or higher.  This is version 1.00, freeware, binary only.

  249. AskVersion    This little program can be used to check whether you are run-
  250.         ning under AmigaDOS 1.3 or AmigaDOS 2.04.  You can put it into
  251.         your startup-sequence to execute a 1.3 bootup script.  This is

  255. AztecErr    A Manx quickfix support program.  If you use the quickfix op-
  256.         tion of AztecC version 5.xx, you can set CCEDIT to this pro-
  257.         gram.  It opens a window which displays all errors one after
  258.         another.  It also has an ARexx port and a gadtools user inter-
  259.         face.  This is version 1.25 an update to version 1.0 on disk
  260.         761.  Removed some enforcer hits and is now font independent.

  264. CloseWD        A tool which enables you to kill windows which are left on
  265.         any screen from other programs, which have been terminated by
  266.         gurus or other things.  You can specify the window by pattern
  267.         matching in the string gadget or by setting a timeout that
  268.         gives you time to select the proper window.  It has a gadtools
  269.         interface and an "ask-before-closing" option.  This is version
  270.         2.11 an update to version 1.2 on disk 742.  Removed some en-
  271.         forcer hits and is now font independent.  Requires AmigaDOS
  272.         2.04 or higher.  Freeware, binary only.

  275. FRequest    FRequest is a handy program which lets you select a file by
  276.         using the ASL file requester and executes a CLI command with
  277.         the given selection. FRequest can be easily used in batch
  278.         files and has a lot of options.  You can use it as an frontend
  279.         for any program which does not directly support filerequester
  280.         selections.  It exchanges '[]' in the specified command line
  281.         with the selection.  It has a debug ability for testing of
  282.         options before execution.  This is version 1.55, an update to
  283.         version 1.5 on disk 743.  It now supports multiple file sel-
  284.         ections and the save filerequester option.  Requires AmigaDOS
  285.         2.04 or higher.  Freeware, binary only.

  288. PickFile    A random generated executor.  It uses a file, or optionally a
  289.         directory, to start the given commandline which the selection.
  290.         Can be easily used for slideshows, wbpattern, font, wbpicture

  292.         cludes examples.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04 or higher.  This is
  293.         version 1.00, freeware, binary only.

  309. Post        An excellent PostScript interpreter for the Amiga which imple-
  310.         ments the full Adobe language.  Supports type 1 and type 3
  311.         fonts, screen output, file output, and printer output.  This
  312.         is version 1.86enh, an update to version 1.7 on disk 669.  In
  313.         this enhanced version all AmigaDOS 1.3 compatibility has been
  314.         removed to facilitate a better, more consistent user interface
  315.         using GadTools menus and GadTools gadgets, full support for
  316.         and use of ASL file requesters has been added, many bugs have
  317.         been fixed, and the source has been upgraded to work with SAS
  318.         C 6.x.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04 or later.  Includes source.
