  3. Cosmetic changes:

  5. - menu_register() now done when running as app in AES 4.x
  6. - BGI, Line-A and floating point library now not linked (this made 
  7.   the program about 7k longer).
  8. - debug info not added (further 5k).
  9. - binary compiled for 68020.

  11. Minor changes:

  13. - locking/unlocking sound system (only when ran as app)
  14. - the filename extender is now considered the part of the filename, 
  15.   that is found after THE LAST dot, not the first one.
  16. - now the program tries to restore the audio subsystem state at exit 
  17.   (keyclick etc. is back).

  19. Major changes:

  21. - long filenames are now understood.
  22. - drag'n'drop-, AV- and ARGV- passed quoted filenames (= filenames 
  23.   with blank spaces) are now understood.

  25. Fixes:

  27. - a bug in drag'n'drop recipient routine: there was sometimes a junk 
  28.   at the end of path/filename.
  29. - a (rather serious) bug in reopen_file(): files opened via 
  30.   drag'n'drop or AV protocol were never closed later, so the program 
  31.   used to run out of file descriptors after some time!
  32. - the program didn't close the currently open file at exit (minor 
  33.   bug).

  35. Changes have been heavily tested on the TOS, FAT/VFAT and Minix V2 
  36. filesystems. The machine was a 14 meg Falcon030 running FreeMiNT 
  37. 1.15.0 (beta release 2.8), N.AES 1.1.7 and Thing Desktop 1.26.
