  1. This is my basic tex&mf lib distribution.
  2. It provides enough stuff to get going.
  3. Files which are installed by other distributions (e.g., the PostScript
  4. fonts by dvips) are omitted.
  5.  
  6. For a description of the default directory layout, see the file
  7. kpathsea/HIER in any of my source distributions.
  8.  
  9. There is over one gigabyte of additional TeX-related stuff on the
  10. Comprehensive TeX Archive Network sites:
  11.    ftp.shsu.edu
  12.    ftp.tex.ac.uk
  13.    ftp.uni-stuttgart.de
  14. *and* their mirrors (finger ctan_us@ftp.shsu.edu, or retrieve
  15. README.mirrors.) The TeX stuff is in /tex-archive.
